While the selection of Tasmanian wines was phenomenal itself, I'd be remiss if I didn't focus this review on Tim. One of the friendliest and most helpful people you could meet, particularly for myself who is not quite initiated or too familiar with wines. Tim went above and beyond to ensure we understood all the wines and even the gins and whisky. It was a pleasure to learn from such a knowledgeable person and to even get to enjoy a few drinks with Tim. Will definitely be coming here every time I'm in Tasmania and will encourage everyone else to visit Bar Two.

This was an accidental find by going into the wrong bar- but what a find! Lovely staff, tried some types of wines we hadn't had before. The cheese platter was great too!

We found this little wine bar by chance, and it was brilliant. The owner was so knowledgeable but very easy to talk to when we know very little about wine. Then rattled off a bunch of great places to eat and enjoy while in town that we would never have found on our own. Cosy atmosphere - delicious wine. Highly recommend.

Fantastic little wine bar. The guys here know their stuff. Great atmosphere, very nice wine. Some of the nicest service I have ever received in an upper class wine bar such as this. Super, super recommend

Stumbled on this little gem on a Monday night, not much else open so a welcome surprise down a small arcade. Wonderful barman/owner with fantastic knowledge of his menu from food to wines to the wine producers. A truly faultless experience and we will definitely be back!

Great time! The local selection of wines, whiskey and gin is amazing. Make sure you chat with Tim behind the bar. He will let you know the best coffee, vineyards and anything else local.

Wine was good. Oysters so much cream that they were not eatable. Time of the year or not, I had good oysters so far everywhere on Tassie and if you cant find any good oysters you should not serve them. Shared my dissatisfaction, paid the full bill and left.

Having finished one bottle of sparkling rose, the wife and husband stepped into Bar Two. The specialties for this small wine bar is ALL from TASSIE - white and red wines, Gin, whiskey etc.. not a place to fill hungry stomach, but a great place to experience local alcohol drinks’ culture. Wife ordered Moscow Mule and Husband ordered martini - besides, we tried the sloe gin by McHenry. All good, just time is short. Pls enjoy the drinks everyone.
