Shehnaz Beauty Salon Toowong

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 10 years at various places and usually have no issues but at Shehnaz Beauty Salon Toowong, I got cuts like never before (see photo). Eyebrow threading is for aesthetic purposes. What's the point of removing brow hair if it results in cuts that look even worse and are also painful? Instead of me paying them, they should have paid me. I want my money back.

Took a huge chunk out of my eyebrow. She briefly waved the mirror in front of me but wouldn’t give me it to look. I tried to look at my brows in the toowong bathrooms but they’re a very dark mirrored surface so I couldn’t actually see my brows. It wasn’t until I got home that I saw the huge chunk she had taken out of my left eyebrow toward my inner corner. Go somewhere else

I have been going to this salon for 4 years and today the girl took off half my eyebrows on both sides. I said to the lady you did them so fast that you have taken half my eyebrow off and she said no I didn't, I followed the tattoo line. I said you can clearly see when I zoom into the picture, this in not the case. There was no refund, just staright up I didn't do it. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. Such bad customer service.

I have visited this place about 5-6 times now just to try out my luck but they’re so horrible that I’ll be never going back. The girls are so rude and look so disinterested in doing their job, what I’m paying them for. They’ve ruined the shape of my eyebrows. Never had such terrible experience anywhere and each time I go back the prices are raised? Last time, the girl barely spent 2 minutes to do my eyebrows which didn’t even look tidy after she was done. When I told her they don’t look very tidy, she said she would have to make my eyebrows thinner and change the shape if I want them to look more tidied up. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 9 years and never heard this stupid excuse. I was so angry when I looked at my eyebrows after coming back home. Would give them negative rating if possible.

I've been going to Shehnaz Beauty Salon in Toowong for 4 years and it's always been a great experience. All the ladies, in particular Diksha, pay attention to detail and are very professional and very quick. I recommend this salon, the service is very good and if you can get Diksha to do your waxing, even better!

Lady asked me to come back in 10 minutes, so I did, had to wait an extra 15 minutes on top of that when I returned before anyone acknowledged me. Asked for an eyelash tint both times, was told to wait because another lady was waiting before me, so I had to wait through her eyebrow threading another 10 minutes. Finally got sat in the chair and when I said I wanted blue-black tint, she realised I had said eyelash tint (even though I had already said that twice and had pointed to my lashes when I asked), and she had made me wait after she was done with the other lady because she thought I asked for eyebrow tint.She put the tint on so messily that when she cleaned it off, I had tint stains covering almost 1cm of skin above and below my lash lines, so I looked like a racoon. The whole time she was cleaning the tint off, she was talking hurriedly with another worker about other clients and not paying attention to what she was doing, so she was pushing tint into my eye, left one of my eyes with tint on it for longer than the other cause she was so distracted talking to the other worker, and worst of all she also dropped a qtip covered in tint on my white top! And she didn't even try clean it off until I pointed it out when she gave me the mirror to look at my lashes. I asked what's this?" and she didn't say anything/take responsibility

I have been coming to this place regularly for 7 years now for Brazilian waxing and the girls always deliver amazing job! They are quick and efficient and on top of that they are super nice and friendly. Compared to other places they are much cheaper too! Highly recommend :)

DO NOT GO HERE! I had my eyelashes and brows tinted. The lady unfortunately got blue black ink all over my expensive white top. She also tried to rub my freckle off my face thinking it was dye. I was then asked to pay $48 for the service which should have only cost $36. I was shocked that they even asked me to pay after ruining my shirt and cardigan with ink. I do not recommend this place. There are better options. They are unwelcoming, unprofessional and poorly trained. Read the other reviews as the complaints are all the same.

I go in quite often to get my eyebrows threaded and face/body waxing and I’m so pleased with the service. I can be super pocky with my brows but Shilpa is so good at what she does that I never have to worry. She is super fast and somehow makes it painless! She always makes me feel comfortable and I never leave disappointed !
