The Parlour

The interior design of the place is amazing.However, everything else not so much…We had a 21st here tonight. There was a bar tab that included beer and wine. Some of the guests didn’t enjoy drinking either and asked the staff if they could order a spirit (and pay for it). Multiple guests got rejected with only the excuse being “we aren’t set up for spirits”… even though the bar is L-shaped and there were spirits on a shelf behind the bartenders.An hour or so passed by and another lot of guests asked for shots. The bartender served them shots and many others throughout the night. But wouldn’t serve the same spirit mixed with soda water/soft drink???Seems a bit contradicting…Majority of the guests were confused by this and not happy.The food was a disappointment as well. Two grazing boards came out and only a quarter of the food on them actually tasted nice. The boards came with no dips and hardly any crackers/bread.Overall, it was a pretty disappointing night in regard to the venue.I definitely won’t be back and many others from the party won’t be either.

Parlour Bar’s Matt shakes the best chilli margarita in town, by far. Other cocktails on the list are delicious and well thought out.

Pretty average bar. The interior is beautiful but the staff were not as friendly and as welcoming as the Cielo bar's staff upstairs. Not sure if we will be back.

Excellent staff. Good food options. Do not even think of having a function here if the temp is over 26. Non functioning air conditioning turned the place into an unbearable sauna. The flippant replies to questions from the staff suggest that this is an on going problem. Shame really. Must be costing them a fortune. Patrons leaving hours sooner than they normally would.

My wife bought me a Cocktail making class for fathers day here. Matt held the class and he was really knowledgeable on everything cocktails. He's traveled the world bartending, and manages all the bars at La Costa. We loved the experience.

Loved having Daniel as our bar tender!! Did an amazing job for our hens! Definitely will recommend!

We had a hens party here and it was so much fun! If you are in Brisbane you need to come to The Parlour! Daniel was so patient and accommodating! We had the best time! Thanks Danny! ☺️

We hired the Parlour for our son’s 21st. Good venue and the team were great to deal with. The duty managers on the night were fantastic and even made sure my son had his preferred whiskey available. I was worried about the noise from our party flowing into the adjoining restaurant, but it wasn’t an issue. For party catering, I preferred the pizzas over the focaccia slabs. For private functions, you also have your own entrance onto Brunswick St, so if you keep it open, it’s good to keep an eye on it, as there were a couple of randoms that walked in thinking it was a normal bar. No biggy, just good info to know in advance.

I came to the Martini Trolley with my mum for a bonding night out. It was amazing! The staff were friendly and attentive. The drinks were created based on our personal preferences. The charcuterie boards were beyond expectation. We really loved the jive/jibberbug style music, which set a fun mood. Thank you!
