Absolute highway robbery. My daughter called asking for a family pack, they gave us a small amount of horrible chips and one grilled fish for $23. The woman was extremely rude on the phone when I called up to complain. Don’t go there!

Proper old school fish and chips. Pretty decent batter and reasonably fresh tasting fish. But the star of the show is delicious perfect hand cut chips you so rarely get in the Illawarra, let alone Sydney. It's been my local go to now for a couple years. Don't let those whingey reviews fool you. It's not the be all and end all of fish and chips but it's definitely the best in the northern suburbs.

NEPTUNES BULLI
We were recommended to visit Neptunes during our recent Easter break visit to Bulli, and we were delighted. This is a no-frills, honest and friendly restaurant. The food was fresh, great value for money, in fact we ate here 4 out the 5 days of our stay. My wife (who is English) said the fish and chips were one of the best she's had. Highly recommended

Stumbled across this place & are so glad we did, don’t let the aesthetic of the place fool you. We walked in abit iffy but the lady assured us she had the best fish in Wollongong & she wasn’t wrong. Tarte sauce was 10/10 my partner ordered a snitty burger, the chicken was juicy & crunchy, we ordered fish cocktails & chips, the fish was fresh, not too much batter & not oily at all. Wish we had a fish & chip shop like this in Sydney. We will definitely be back

A good catch!Real juicy fish fillets. Different varieties to choose from (Hoki, Barramundi etc). Loads, and I means loads of freshly cooked fries! Burgers are also on the menu - had the beef burger with beetroot which was satisfying.Could do with a bit of decor and improved signage but it's the food that counts. Overall a great meal to have as part of our visit to the Gong.Tip #1: Located next to ChimichangasTip #2: There's also a drive thru ATM adjacent to the shop if you need to withdraw cash

A lil gemshhhh don't tell anyone.the fish is so moist and juicythe chips delicious crispy on the outside fluffy clouds inside.Irene is personable super friendly and knows her stuff.everything we have tried is yum yum delicious.fresh n fast.It's next door to Bulli fire station. Ordered again today and the calamari was delicious
