Bowen Palms Caravan Park
Wonderful manager who was helpful and courteous. Amenities were clean, highway access was easy, shower was hot, and facility was relatively quiet despite being on the highway. Some parts of the park look a bit tired, but it has a very relaxed atmosphere. We loved it.

Wonderful and big caravan park, lots of powered sites, some drive through very friendly and cheerful staff. Dog friendly and very clean amenities. $ 35 a night powered.

Friendly and helpful staff, older but spotless amenities, pool and dump point.Close to Bruce Highway but did not stop us sleeping.$35/night power and water, southern side of town but only a short drive into town.

Great affordable well maintained older style with great choice of ensuite sites, powered sites , unpowered sites and cabins. Lovely lady at Reception. Close to Bruce Highway but noise factor hardly a problem except mb for unpowered sites. Would highly recommend. We be back next winter when passing through.

It was ok for a rest and look around Bowen. Bit of road noise as it is close to the highway. Old park in need of better maintenance, which is fine, but the lady in reception made us feel unwelcome she appears unhappy, bordering on rude and unfortunately, we find that off-putting.

Awesome place to stay so friendly Mick and Aileen clean tidy relaxed stayed an extra day wll definitely be back. If you are looking at great atmosphere, relaxed freshen up in the pool just great. Dog friendly which was a bonus for us. Thank you so much Bruce & Sue

There was plenty of room in the unpowered camping area so if your antisocial then that's great. You still get a lot of noise from the highway but that's true for most caravan parks anyway. All the facilities work fine shower, Kitchen. The manager was friendly. Just remember you have to do a $10 deposit for the security swipe card. The office opens at 8.30 am to get your deposit back.
