The Worst product supplied to a consumerOur actron new air conditioning unit has had 4 warranty call outs & has required replacement parts every time with weeks of waiting time for parts & the unit being un operational with a long wait.Unit is well under 9 months old & failed within the first month, product couldn’t even last 12 months!Should have listened & went daikin, actron are no longer the best on the market it appearsNow on the long wait again from actron warranty customer service on what’s the next patch up repair on a lemon unit during this heatwave of 35+ degree days in a hot home, of course it had to fail today when 40 degrees.May have it all sorted by winter

Meh, can't order parts unless you're a tradie

Within a couple of days of leaving a website request for a site visit & quote, I had a contact from Trevor Timms of Simmonds Refrigeration - one of Actron's SA dealers. I was impressed with Trevor's product knowledge ... it supported what I found during my research - that the Actron is probably the best ducted air-conditioner for Australian conditions.Actron followed up a week later with a customer satisfaction survey to ensure that Simmonds had been in touch and to check on the outcome - leaving the door open for me to follow up further through them if required.Regrettably, I wasn't able to buy their product in the end because I couldn't afford it. Had life played out differently, I would have had that extra money and would have jumped at the Actron solution, as it would have saved me money in the long run.

Rang the company to get someone to check my aircon as it is not functioning (cooling system) they charge me the day before a a fee of $150, the person arrives at 6:40pm just asks whats the issue, goes back to his car without even checking the unit property, takes the ipad out and says it will cons you $3000 for maintenance and if we find any faults we will have to charge on the top of it, at the end waited for the technician for the whole day, paid $150 call out fee and issue didnt get resolved! do not recommend!

Sadly, a friend of mine and I separately installed Actron's premiere Advance" System in our homes. This is supposed to be revolutionary technology that offers seperate temperature control for each zone in the house along with super efficiency. Well after many visits from Actron

Our 4 year old ESP Platinum gave up the ghost on a 47.3 degree record day and threw a E15 error code. i phoned the service warranty number was redirected to a Vic help desk and advised them of the issue. extremely helpful and understanding of the issue but couldn't do too much until the parts were flown over from NSW and a local technician visit to check the unit. VIP Air-conditioning were the servicemen and their capabilities to fix and repair a faulty motherboard and circuit breaker really impressed. Kudos to actronair and VIP for the service and warrant claim being honoured.
