The Potting Shed
I was at The Ground for lunch yesterday with my wife. It took more than 40 mins to be able to order, and even we clearly mentioned that we want the steak to be delivered a bit late so we can enjoy the entrees but they still bring them all together, refused to bring the steak back. We ordered the steak as medium rare but it actually too rare, too much fat hasn’t been trimmed out, too chewy, and too cold even we tried finish our entrees as fast as we can. When we asked the waitress to clean the entree plates so we have some more space on the table, she took the steak sauce with her. We had to wait and ask her to bring it back. $153 is not worth the price for the meal with too much disappointed.

Super nice and cozy for dinner. There’s a free marshmallow grill at the entrance. The interior was so lovely and staff were so helpful. There is also a weekly/ monthly special. I had the mussel special with a free glass of wine and cost < $40 per pax.

We decided to visit The Grounds of Alexandria and decided to visit the The Potting Shed for lunch.Absolutely breath taking venue as you feel you are sitting in your nans green house with plants and flowers all around.From the welcome to the end of our dining experience the staff were friendly, helpful and polite.The meals were served quickly. The meals were definitely amazing full of flavours and fresh quality ingredients and prepared by chefs with love.Highly recommend a visit to the potting shed if you are visiting the grounds of Alexandria.

This place is pretty wild. It has a little bit of pub, a splash of Disney, a sprinkling of cafe, disco lights, ice cream stand and pastry and easter show, and a whole lot of garden. To say it is unique would be an understatement. The food was pretty good, drinks were ok but not quite as good as the food. Service was excellent and very friendly considering how packed it was inside. There were many prams and kids running amok, if you are looking for a quiet bite during the weekend this place might not be for you, but if you need a boost this place is full of energy.

Been here twice and the cocktails are amazing and the presentation is so beautiful. The food was nice but not great! Prices are quite steep too, but I guess you're paying for the atmosphere. Good service too.P.S. also there's a magnificent blue and yellow parrot inside the restaurant!

We didn't have a reservation but were very surprised that as a small party of 2 we were able to be quickly and quite easily seated straight away. Food really nice, and some simple food substitutions and adjustments that we needed made were easily done. The atmosphere was lovely, sitting among all the greenery was very cool. Visiting the Disney display was great, and made meal even better.

Such a unique and incredibly beautiful experience at The Potting Shed.The attention to detail is absolute perfection. Themed decor in every direction you look at. Very warm and welcoming and cosy environment with warm dimly lit seating. Perfect for a chillaxed day or evening with your companions or just by yourself.A multitude of plants and flowers exist throughout the entire space, enveloping you wherever you go. It feels so fresh and green and colourful.The food is delicious! I got the Autumn Salad and it was so fresh and flavourful with peas and broad beans and greens and yummy toasted bread pieces. Honestly best salad I've had at a restaurant.There's a huge variety of seating options to pick from which is very welcoming.The staff are so friendly and knowledagble and inviting and helpful!This place offers such a unique and beautifully incredible experience, you definitely have to give it a visit for some drinks or food or both !

Been here for multiple occasions. Date night and brunches and the food here never fail to amaze me. I enjoyed the placement of the plants here and the mysterious yet tropical vibes.The potting shed is definitely one of restaurants that stands out for the right reason!

Had a lovely Mother’s Day lunch here! The mussels were amazing, a definite highlight! The streak was perfect quality and the seafood tortilini was so yummy.The only downside was we were seated right next to the entrance. It was chilly and a pile of baby seats was next to our table which ruined the pretty atmosphere
