Oxygène Salon

It's okay, but terribly over priced (like $85 for nothing more than a simple hair cut, just trimming with no tints or foils or anything). My only real objection is that my hairdresser kept touching the dog they allow to roam around the studio and then touching my hair. It's wasn't exactly very hygienic...

Jean Louis is the best hairdresser ever. He looks at your hair and decides what will suit you best. I've been going to him for about seven years on and off. I always come back to him after trying somewhere closer to home that's easier for me to get to.

Have been going to Oxygene since they opened 12 yrs ago .The reason I go is because the owner JL is the best cutter ever .I have been many places prior to Oxygene and I can always count on the fab styles.Also my colour when changing a look is great.I love the relaxed atmosphere of the salon .Highly recommend Oxygene .

Jean-Louis is a sweetheart and most professional. Has an amazing staff as well. Gave me great advice about washing and styling. Did an amazing cut and I feel fantastic!

I had a run of hairdressers who gave awful kids' haircuts. What does it matter, they're boys and only kids right? But it very much mattered to me. Then I found Jean-Louis. He took incredible care. Both boys had thick hair, even when very young, and it sometimes took over an hour. Jean Louis was very patient with them and very reasonably priced. They always came a way with the perfect haircut. I am very grateful. My youngest is now 20 and still has his hair cut by Jean Louis.Jean Louis also cuts my very fine, curly hair. This is the sort of hair that most people hate or straighten. However, I often get complimented and have been stopped and asked where I get mine done. It has gone from long to short, and is now a messy, inverted bob. He always manages to shape it to suit my face. He also gives very good advice on whether the style will work or be easy to maintain. So best to listen to the master - he really knows what he is doing.I have also had the pleasure of having my hair done by Boo. She is absolutely fabulous with colour and just as skilled in cutting. So if Jean Louis is away or busy, I don't have to panic.I can recommend this salon without reservation. I like the friendly atmosphere, unpretentious decor, the dog and the fact that it never smells of chemicals.

The best salon. Jeanlouis is excellent cutter and stylist. My hair has always been healthy since coming too the best hairdressers. The environment is friendly and inviting. Boo does the most amazing lashes to suit your face. I always receive compliments from friends and strangers after my visit from oxygene salon.

The staff are really friendly and down to earth. They are all amazing at cuts, colours, styles, and extensions. John Louis gave me long extensions in July and I love them. His attention to detail is amazing.

I had my hair and makeup done by Bernadette for a wedding. She was so professional and took the time to consult with me about what I wanted and what would look good with my skin tones. Very fairly priced as well! Will be going back ASAP! couldn't recommend more :)

I've been getting my haircut here for years.The salon has great staff that are friendly, skilled and willing to work towards your hairstyle goals.Their cuts always grow out well - my sign of a very good haircut.I used to go to very expensive high-profile salons though got tired of paying their high prices with hit and miss results.I'm now happy to travel a few suburbs for a good value, great cut.

I’ve been looking for so long for a good local hair salon and finally found one. Oxygene Salon in Glebe Point Road is excellent. Bernadette really understands what I am wanting. I always come out feeling great. Highly recommend
