Professional and caring from start to finish. They are a local family business, embedded in the community of Newcastle and the Hunter and it shows. Their sincerity is genuine and compassionate but they remain organised and professional from the moment you ring them to the time you say goodbye.We were very pleased with the presentation of the program brochure and with how they brought life to some very old black and whites for the pictorial montage of my Mum's life.Our celebrant ran the show without a hitch; again getting that delicate balance of professionalism and compassion just right. The onus was very much on accepting our loss but at the same time celebrating a diverse life of perseverance, humour and spontaneity.Mum would definitely have put Pettigrew's on her Christmas card list.

The funeral service I attended for my childhood friend was beautiful, she was treated with dignity and respect at all times, a fitting tribute for a true fighter. We had the sad journey of saying see ya to a beautiful lady we were so very blessed to have in our lives Pamela Milne; Or Bar to so many….. Last Wednesday 20th April at 3pm…. It was a sad day for all of us….To know Pammie was to love her & we will love & miss her forever…The Pettigrews representative that spoke at the Service….I have to say was beyond being a beautiful soul…..I think his name was Damien, He spoke about Pammie like he had known her forever….She would have been so humbled & moved to tears herself….It truly was straight from the heart & I just want to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart for honouring her life with the compassion & kindness she deserved….. It was an absolute pleasure to speak to him after the Service & thank him for his kindness in person…. So thank you for the memory
