Great little pub. We were here last year and loved it. Not too bad a menu although a couple of things weren't available.Definitely on our list of places to eat every time we visit Longreach.

The perfect spot for dinner when passing through Longreach!Their courtesy shuttle, cheekily named the “Birdy Bus” will pick you up and drop you off anywhere in town, which is very handy for a weary traveller in the dark.The food was excellent - we loved the added touch of the veggie and salad bar to spruce up your meal your own way.

Lovely meal of double shanks but meal taken away before I was finished. Shank bones were also for my dog.Nice pub and bar staff otherwise.Ken from Perth.

Went to dinner at the Birdcage hotel, we sat outside in beer garden as we had our Fury friend with us. We were pleasantly surprised with our mealsThe Porterhouse steak with veges was generous, serving and cooked perfectly with the best pepper sauce I have had on a steak. Mrs. had the salmon, which was also cooked perfectly, and meals were presented very well fine dining

What a great feed and location. Centre of town and staff were a1. They had a bus in as well so they worked like Trojans... picked me up and dropped me back to hotel... not an issue. Food and cold drinks were great
