Anchorage Holiday Units

Friendly staff and clean facilities is a giant plus. Not just once, but every time I go.Really good prices for families or groups.They do allow pets, but it's yet to trigger my allergies.Sheets are always clean, and extras in the cupboard.Only downside is the buildings themselves are quite old, but for this price, I'm only looking for clean and liveable.Been no my goto place for budget accommodation for many years now.

We stayed in Unit 7. Although clean it was very ordinary even though some renovations had taken place. The toilet door is not even a full door but a small half door that sits half way in the frame. Also only accessible through the second bedroom, which could be difficult if others are staying in there.The Air Con wasn't working and it was extremely hot the first day. This was rectified by the staff, but when the weather turned cold the heating did not work. I didn't bother going back to the staff.The settee was absolutely dreadful and we had to use extra pillows to sit on.I gave 3 stars as the bed was extremely comfortable and I had the best sleep for a long time.The position of the units is very good- close to the shops and the bridge to the surf.I wish the owners well but I would not choose to stay there again.

With only 8 units available this is a quiet place to stay and only one block away from main road, shops & beach. Perfect location.Very comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, good appliances, undercover parking, pet friendly. Everything you need is provided for a self contained short or long stay with family, friends or a couple. Great price too considering we visited during peak season.Would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others.

Filthy and smells bed. Normally we do like small units as they are cozy and comfy but this place is bad.Swimming pool is 6 Mt lenth and 0.5 Mt width very very small. If u can get something else avoid this place.Lake entrance is amazing place

Strange units.A bit outdated, which is fine, as we were only in the unit to sleep and at times rest.Double couch only in a family unit, and the couch was very saggy and you could feel the wooden frame.Bathroom/shower/toilet located off the kids bedroom( or access from the outdoor carport which made little sense), meaning we woke our son during the night passing through his room.Toilet door sits well above knee height when sitting down, creating no privacy.On the last night we stayed there I noticed black mould on the ceiling in the bathroom.A lot needs to be done for this place to be somewhere safe and comfortable to stay.

Working holiday.70's decor, but the shower has great pressure with heated lamps in the bathroom, laundry machine on site with hills hoist, there is a gas powered oven/cooktop.2 bunk beds, a single and a queen in a unit (all same - two bedrooms).Clean and simple.Staff has been more than accommodating - bringing my washing in from the line when I forgot, offering food when I worked late.Honest people making an honest living.Definitely a good choice for a family holiday on a budget.

The apartments were older, but the very reasonable price reflects this. The apartments were functional, had everything I needed. I was able to bring my dog without any extra deposits. The owners were very friendly. Would go again. And would recommend to a friend.

Lovely clean motel rooms,dog friendly,very quiet area,a couple minutes walk to shops,&the beaches. River cruises,hire boats out for a couple hours,or hire a boat for the day,car licence required. Host are very friendly&kind,perfect town lake entrance,with so many different beaches to take your dog swimming,also a great place for fishing. Recommend the anchorage motel for dog owners. Lake entrance a lovely place to enjoy your break. Towns people very friendly,as ive meet some lovely locals,i meet up with while im on holidays. Visited lake entrance from 6th dec-21st 2019,will be heading there again in a couple months time.

Pretty decent experience. My family and I stayed here about a month ago. The kitchen was cramped and the stove wasn't working, though. We stayed in Unit 4.The bathroom is connected to one of the bedrooms, which is kind of annoying as there is only one bathroom and it's inconvenient for people who aren't sleeping in the connected bedroom.However, the sleep makes up for these flaws. I had the best night's sleep ever in this place. I slept through both of my alarms. The bed is really comfortable.In fact, I'm pretty sure the only person who didn't really enjoy the place was my mum.The units look a bit old and the shower sometimes runs out of hot water, though. The place is also located a couple of blocks from the grocery store, which is nice.In conclusion, some of the appliances don't work well and the place looks a bit old, but the beds are AMAZING. The place is in a good location as well.

Very basic facilities and conditions of the units. However very close to everything so very convenient. Swimming pool is like large bath tub size and toilet door is small swing door in middle!! Host is very nice and helpful.
