Acai Brothers Terrigal

Açai Bros deliver delicious, healthy bowls that your body will thank you for. They offer so many options for toppings including fruits, oats and natural treats- all which are vegan! The staff working here are incredibly friendly and helpful! Such a great breakfast on a Summer morning in Terrigal. Outdoor dog-friendly seating is a bonus too!

Honestly, shocked at how bad the service at an açai place could possibly be.I went in yesterday and there were three teenagers on shift and one lady in front of me. The staff were all talking behind the counter and let their conversation fizzle over a few minutes before they went to take her order. The woman ordered a long black only to be told that the barista had just injured herself and she would need to wait 5 minutes - the woman accepted and took a seat near the counter. Meanwhile, I’m waiting to order while the three giggling staff all kept chatting away about their personal lives. It took three of them to pull out the first aid box and put one Band-Aid on the baristas finger. The barista then goes and takes an iced latte and sits out the front of the shop right near the waiting customer, on her phone and drinking her coffee, for 5 minutes. I order 1 açai bowl.The other 2 staff spend the next 10minutes making 1 orange and celery juice together for a previous customer who’d left to come back - with one of them doing all the work at snail speed and the other following her around. I’d be more empathetic if this girl was in training but it seemed to be more that the other was just helping her out, friend to friend, with the juice order. With three staff on and only 2 customers in the store, it took 20 minutes to get an açai bowl, even with the majority of the bowl being premade.Meanwhile, the 5 minutes pass and the “injured” barista finishes her coffee and walks back to the machine only to spend 30seconds making a long black to pass to the woman. The woman was polite but this was ridiculous. How many people does it take to run hot water through a shot of coffee. She was clearly having a break but she should’ve just made it before sitting down (considering how quick the order was and that the other staff didn’t know how to use the machine) and she definitely shouldn’t be sitting next to waiting customers on her phone taking her time sipping a coffee while they stand around wishing they’d gone elsewhere.$19 for a açai bowl: 50c extra for each standard açai bowl fruits (small amounts of strawberry and kiwi), and $2 extra for a runny drizzle of peanut butter that in other stores would be a thick scoop.Don’t waste your money or time.

A welcome addition to Terrigal! The Acai Bros have wonderful acai bowls, warm toasties, smoothies, etc, and there's even a selection of kids milkshakes. The bowl pictures is a small size, and it was filling - very generous fillings/toppings. You can choose your own base and toppings plus a selection of three fruit toppings. Love that there is a great selection of healthy food. I know we'll be visiting regularly. Friendly and helpful staff too, and outdoor seating available. Awesome work guys.

Almost everyone that has had a negative experience with this place seems to complain about the service wait times.. we ordered two vegan burgers and tacos.. it wasn’t the fastest service (and the fact that the register waitress stuffed up and only placed one burger in the system) BUT they sure made up for it by not charging us for the second burger **generous** so me and the wife ended up cutting the burger in half because we were both so hungry while we waited for the second burger to be made.. and WOOOW it was delicious.. and honestly the second burger came around so quick! To be honest to all you haters.. if you want quick service then go to a fast food restaurant where the burgers come out sloppy.. or want a “quick coffee” then head on down to a petrol station and get your quick hit.. because these guys don’t seem to promote themselves as a fast food outlet but rather a health food cafe and with that it takes time and effort!!

Amazing service from the owner Tim and his co-worker Tom! My bacon and egg roll was so tasty and my girlfriend loved her Nutella Crepe! Thanks for making my girlfriends birthday by surprising us with a candle and singing Happy Birthday, much appreciated!

i was in terrigal from Sydney and craving acai. i bought this and it made me upset :(the acai bowls look good but taste like nothing. i have never had acai so icy and flavourless before. honestly such a let down especially considering the price. the chocolate one kinda tasted like dirt but i am assuming it bc they used cacao. also the toppings are super confusing. idk if i am allowed to choose any fruit with no additional cost or if its only certain fruits that are free - not clear at all.the staff weren't bad, but they weren't extremely friendly either.

Always the best service here all the girls are so nice and always make great açaí would recommend !

I live in Terrigal and decided to give this place a try as it has been on my list since opening. Boy am i glad I did. I had the Bro-chini Burger. It has a Vegan Charcoal Bun, a Vegan zucchini pattie, tomato, Vegan cheese and their signature" BBQ Sauce. Amazing. Everything on the menu is Vegan. Wow i was in Vegan heven. My wife had a salted Caramel smoothie. So Yummy... The menu consists of Acai Bowls as you would expect
