Star Car Wash

Took my car to be cleaned today. Was told $65 after he had looked at in inside and out, I said no worries I'll bring cash back. Returned to pick my car up and it went up to $80. The guy was arguing with me saying he didn't say $65. If I was told $80 from the start and he didn't lie to my face saying he didn't say $65 I would have paid the $80. Such a rude person with no customer service skills and at that not even a good clean of the car. There was also a comment made about me being female. Will never return and that person is in the wrong field of work.

Daylight robbery. Scam. Absolute rort.Car did not come back cleaned as expected. One extremely rude staff member with the worst customer services skills/attitude I have encountered. Worst car wash experience I’ve ever had.I drive a hatchback (CX3) and took my car here today to get a basic interior/exterior clean. Online it states approx $60 but on arrival I was told $80 because the car is “dirty”. To be clear the car wasn’t dirty, it just needed a basic vacuum to rid some sand from summer beach days. I didn’t argue with the quoted price, I just wanted the interior to be vacuumed which was the confirmed by the staff member.Upon picking up my car, I went to inspect it and it was very clear that they had not bothered to do their job properly. Sand and dirt was still in the car and when I returned to let him know his attitude was incredibly rude raising his tone asking me “WHERE”. Please see the photos attached. It’s really not that hard to see where it had not been vacuumed. He reluctantly vacuumed the back again. As the car wash is located undercover near Kmart and is quite dark, my mum was also checking the other seats with her phone torch. In an aggressive tone (almost yelling) he told her that she was not allowed to use her iPhone torch to check the vehicle and if further cleaning was required it would be $250-$500. What an absolute bunch of BS. If I am paying for a car cleaning service I expect to be able to inspect the job done in whichever way I see fit.One of the other staff members (Neha?) had much better customer service skills and tried to explain that their vacuum is not that strong. I appreciate the explanation, however as a paying customer who is expecting the car to be vacuumed, the strength of the vacuum is not my problem. The business may want to consider upgrading the vacuum or investing in something that works so that customer expectations are met.It’s a shame I have been here before and paid approx $60 and the service and clean was 10x better than todays. I won’t be returning.To anyone considering getting their car “washed” here. I strongly encourage you to go elsewhere or do it yourself.Please also note these photos are after the back had been “re-vacuumed”.

Not satisfied with the service. Car wasn’t wash properly. But interior vacuumed was good..

Went there this morning, asked them are they busy? They said no, so I leave my car with them and they said it will be done around 1,5 hours.After 1,5 hours, my car still not been touched yet, and when I asked they said I didn’t leave the key for them which I showed them, I left the key in the ignition.Just go to another car wash if you can, this place is mannerless, even after this incident, no one even said sorry.

Took my car in for a detail this morning, staff very friendly, my car was a bit dirty, I was quoted an hour to an hour and half for service, my car was done within the hour. Car was nice and clean and smelling beautiful.Thank you so much, nothing better than a clean car.

I had my car wash done at fountain gate star car wash and the job was done very poorly. There were several marks left behind on the car, they were easily visible from distance. Inside, the car wasn’t done properly either, dashboard had dust on it and carpet also had some hard particles left behind. Mirror had clear visual marks as well. Over all, it looked like just water was splashed and barely paid any attention to details. Please follow up if you should require any more information. Kind regards Aman

Paid for interior detailing, which clearly states on the sign that it also includes a platinum wash. Platinum wash was not done. Before he started he quoted the $170.00 as the sign states so I was expecting the wash. He was quite rude when I questioned and then walked off as I was talking to him. Interior detailing has been done well, customer service and misguiding prices I would give zero stars
