3 stars for a 3.5 accommodation stay. Reception has moved, so signage was confusing. It's in the restaurant (fyi). The room was as expected; the only feedback would be to lose the wheels on the beds! We could not sit up in bed and watch TV as the bed would roll away from the wall. We tried multiple options to fix this. In the end, we stuffed pillows under the wheels (which made us cringe, as they were lovely pillows). The location was just out of town; dont expect a short stroll to other dining options. We had the Smoke and Pickle platter for dinner to share, and it was tasty. When ordering my reisling, though, the young man commented, reisling.... white wine?" as he looked for it in the fridge. Brekky was basic continental (and as expected for the price)

Didn't disappoint. I was so looking forward to staying in this lovely 70's style accommodation. Great location to base yourself for exploring all the Tablelands has to offer. The room was comfortable and warm. I would have loved to stay longer and sample the restaurant and bar. Continental buffet breakfast was simple but adequate.

Can not rate this place enough. I stay here every time I need to work up on the tablelands, regardless of where I have to be because it is that good! Super affordable, super comfortable, nice hot showers, cold aircon, comfortable bets and room to breathe! Love love love the Malanda lodge! 6/5 stars every time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Late booking on Tuesday and made to feel extremely welcome. Room was very comfortable and clean. The food was simply superb. A selection of smoked meats, sauces, pickles, onion, corn, and a bun was presented beautifully and tasted just as good. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Our family stayed here for a couple of nights during the school holidays. The motel rooms were comfortable, clean and tastefully appointed with lovely views over the fields. My kids loved swimming in the pool and seeing the neighbour's horses. The continental breakfast was served in a lovely restaurant where we also ate dinner (which was delicious!). Will definitely be back again!

A very tranquil setting that anyone can enjoy. A must visit for any family or even a function. Although we were here for one night the staff were fabulous, the property immaculate and our experience was memorable. Thank you.

Good surroundings, friendly staff. Could not provide what was on the menu. What was provided was good. Closed early. I would go again too see if there was a change at a different time of year

Top place to relax, very tranquil in farm type setting. Service is great and the hosts, Phil and Eunice are very friendly, hospitable and helpful if needed.

I had an incredible stay at the Malanda Lodge! One of the things I loved most was the amount of space available - there was plenty of room to kick back and relax. The serene ambiance made it the perfect spot for a family vacation or even a special event.The staff were absolutely amazing - they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable. It was clear that the entire property was expertly maintained and the team did an excellent job of keeping everything in top condition.Despite being a bit older, the lodge had clearly been modernized with guest comfort in mind. I was thrilled to find USB ports, ample power points, air conditioning that was easy to control, strong Wi-Fi, and even access to Netflix to keep me entertained. To top it all off, the continental breakfast each morning was a wonderful added bonus.I cannot wait to return to Atherton and stay at the Malanda Lodge again - thank you to the dedicated and friendly employees for making my experience so fantastic!
