My 81 year old Dad was looking for minced lamb for a recipe we were making last Friday. He couldn't find it at Woolies so he went to the local butcher.The butcher told him he had none made up, but could do some on the spot with a minimum purchase of 1 kilo. Once done, the butcher handed it over & asked for payment of $34.99!!!Dad was taken aback and asked the butcher if he was joking, as even a leg of lamb was only $24.99. The butcher replied that the extra charge was for mincing it!!! Dad told him that he could keep his meat & bought beef mince from Woolies instead.Needless to say that my Dad will NEVER go to this butcher again! There's a special place in hell for those who take advantage of the elderly.Incidentally Dad managed to get lamb mince at Woolies today for $15 a kilo!

Great customer service, good quality meat and the convenience of a home delivery if you spend over $100 online. 10/10 recommend to all friends and familyChanged my review because since using them recently, my orders are not getting fully fufilled. They expect me to travel to Blake view store for me to get something if they don’t have it at golden grove. Now I didn’t even get anything extra for the money that was already spent and I have just ordered steak , half a kilo of porterhouse and they packed me a 100gram off cut. Unprofessional as! No longer recommend this company

Having a look at their display my husband couldn't see what he was looking for so asked the young lad serving if they had any beef ribs. Beef ribs? You mean pork ribs" was the reply. No mate - beef from a cow not pork from a pig - you're a butcher!!"

Would have to be one of the worst butchers in the country!I have bought meat from these guys a few times, and I have to say, I've never received a good steak. They are generally a bit tough, but after the Fillet Mignon's my wife gotta fromthere today, we will never go there again as these things were so tough, we couldn't even eat them.....simply not good enough for meat at that price point!!! I wouldn't even bring them back and throw at them, as these things were so tough, they'd just bounce back!
