I renovated the kitchen in March 2022 and at the end of the same year the kick-board started to peel off. Contacted them and did not have an answer until the following year. their response was that was normal" . We are also having issues with the appliances bought through the company. We have just had our kitchen completely remodelled by Unique Design. They listened to what we were trying to achieve and designed our kitchen to perfection. Their team from Michael, Russel and John including the plumber, electrician, glass splashback team and counter top guys together with all the other suppliers were outstanding. They all delivered everything on time and to the highest quality. Our kitchen is now functioning exceptionally well and we are both delighted we selected Unique Design to do this project.

We were first introduced to Simon and the Unique team over a decade ago via a referral through a friend that had used Unique Design for a kitchen renovation. We were renovating our house at Wavell Heights and were looking for an experienced and reliable kitchen/joinery company and that is exactly what we found in Unique Design. The service and product they provide is exemplary. We have since built and sold a home in Hamilton and have used Unique for everything from our kitchens, laundry, outdoor kitchens, desks, wardrobes, TV cabinets, bathroom vanities, the list goes on and we could not be happier. We are currently in the process of building our forever house and have engaged Simon and the team at Unique again, we did not even entertain having anyone else quote our work. I highly recommend Unique Design and am excited to be working with them again.

Kitchen demolition and replacementBuyer beware. Here’s a list of issues we experienced with this company along with their installation subcontractor - Trade Pro:• Demolition of old kitchen went well (first day)• New kitchen was delivered missing three drawer fronts, two fill panels and skirting• Poor design meant a corner cabinet was installed reducing a busy doorway where it couldn’t be used• Kitchen had to be re-designed so the doorway wasn’t blocked• Incorrect cabinet supplied for range hood. Rangehood appliance travelled MEL-BNE-MEL-BNE• Some two-pack cabinet doors painted the wrong colour• Some doors could not be opened due to incorrect manufacture• Stone benchtop was cut onsite sparking a WHS incident where QWHS inspector stopped work. Industrial clean for whole house and hygienist air monitoring was required whilst our family had to stay in hotel• After 5 weeks company panicked and tried to rush practical completion (PC) to avoid breach of contract. PC was actually 13 weeks after demolition• Trades not showing up or showing up with admitted hangovers• Procession of supervisors and trades – we had 3 or maybe 4 project coordinators• Poor service and communication from company and installation subcontractor• Blame shifting between principal contractor and installers• Being told by Director “I don’t care” when issues raised.** EDIT ** Unique, if you care to check back through your records you’ll find written evidence for the points we have outlined.

The whole team at Unique Kitchen designs were very professional. They listened to our requests, worked with what we wanted and made good recommendations on how to solve some of our challenges. The quality of the kitchen is amazing. They had installed our previous kitchen which still looked brand new after 10 years. The previous kitchen was designed for wheelchair access which was no longer needed. The fixtures used in 2021 are even better quality so I'd expect this one to last even longer.Tim, our installer, was amazing. He went above and beyond what you'd normally expect of a tradie, staying back after hours to ensure our kitchen was ready.Very happy to recommend this company to anybody looking for good quality kitchens with professional customer service.

Did an excellent job in concepting and delivering our beautiful kitchen renovation in Bulimba. Ran on-time and was able to deal with the contingencies that emerged. The kitchen looks more amazing than could have been anticipated and all the fit and finish of the luxury standard we would expect.
