We had a great host named Tanya which was absolutely adorable and friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. A large choice of drinks. 100% recommended for a fine dining, social gathering or lazy afternoon.

Went here with a seafood allergy, left in an ambulance. For me, Prawn Star is like my crazy ex, I know I cant have her but I just can’t stay away (and that seafood smell at Prawn Star reminds me of her when she’d open her legs). In all seriousness, the service is excellent (Mark is a legend, he was very welcoming and friendly) and the food is so fresh it’s like they caught it to order. You can sit at one of the communal tables on the boat or at a seperate table on the adjoining dock. Despite the severe allergy, I’d come here again it’s that bloody good. One of my favourite restaurants because it’s a hit every time.

Had a great feed at a good price. Waitress was friendly and efficient. Prawns, bugs, oysters and salmon fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend.

long drive for the prawn here in prawn star absolutely worth it!We love prawns, we only ordered prawns, other seafood looked good too. If you are a big fan of prawns, you must come here to eat prawns! must come! You will absolutely love it here!

Mark and Tanya were terrific hosts, along with their top quality seafood. So fresh, in fact fresher than I've ever had anywhere else. The experience of dining on a trawler in a marina was also worth the visit.Give it a try...at least once. You'll see.

Had a wonderful birthday here, the owner Mark is a wonderful man with his family they played music to our taste and the seafood is amazing and so fresh! Will definitely go again and again and one of the best birthday dinners I've ever had! All the way recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood platters!

Amazing place and great fresh food! I have been to their location in Cairns a few years ago and was so nice to see this on the Sunny Coast! Amazing service and very welcoming staff. Totally recommended with a bonus that you are dining on a boat ( a bit of movement as well to add to the experience) ☺️

My husband & I went there for lunch for his birthday a few weeks ago...he was in heaven! The seafood is fresh, the service is friendly and fun and we had a fantastic time. Thank you to Mark and his team for a great experience!
