ALDI

Love Aldi Katoomba. Great variety and great prices. I can do all my grocery shopping here, excepting a couple of items which I still have to purchase from ripoff merchants Woolworths and Coles. Actually having proper checkouts with friendly staff is a bonus. Also people in the queue are friendly and helpful. People will offer for you to go in front of them if you've only got a few items. I always look to see what other people are buying and usher them in front of me when I'm doing a larger weekly shop.Downside is that despite having a revamped carpark with two toilets, one of which is coded for staff (Aldi and other businesses who operate out of the building), the single customer toilet is permanently locked and has been for months. This is very unfair and as I have a disabled partner we've often had to discontinue our shopping and drive to Coles to use the toilets there. Very inconvenient as the Aldi toilets are right beside the Disabled Parking spot but are NEVER unlocked. Please fix this Aldi.

Great store, although doesn't always have the special items.

Shows promise with genuine lower prices on staple items compared to the other large supermarkets. We will be back again.

Just been there around 2 pm. We were on number 1 The young lady on the cashier was fantastic, she was so helpful as we spent over $500 and she even helped t unpacking and re packing into the shopping bag. I am very short , I can’t even reach the bottom of the trolley, so I need to put all small things into the shopping bag

Very kind and helpful staff. Huge choices of multiple goods for low prices! I prefer Aldi worldwide! Unique for australia: Liqueurs are sold too, vines and whiskies etc.!

If it isn't obvious that ALDI are price fixing you may be an NPC

Perfect , all the item s in Bathurst that was low in stock , Katoomba had an abundance of , Very Happy , AAA

Plenty of cheaper items over the big two supermarkets BUT do your homework, as some items are in fact more expensive.The store appears untidy, mainly due to the special buys section, which gets out of control due to customers rummaging through things.Be careful with prices in the special buys section, as many items don't have a price tag so you need to get a price check before buying.The staff member we had at the checkout was very pleasant however one other store member almost ran over me with their electric pallet jack, as no-one was getting in their way as they zoomed on through. A little more situational awareness would be good.Overall, Aldi is Aldi and if you shop right, you will come away with some bargains.

Aldi is always a fabulous place to shop for good quality products at a reasonable price. Of course, at the moment (COVID-19), shelves are not full.

gave a $50 bill to purchase a $12 item and was given change for a $20. upon dispute the cashier denied i gave her $20, so i had to wait half an hour for the manager to check the cctv. pls hire people who can a) perform basic arithmetic and b) have capacity to admit to their own stupid error
