Ordered a Black Forest Cake for my husband's birthday, they were more than happy to accommodate my husband's alcohol allergy. Best cake we've had in a long time. Definitely going back there again. So so good.

I wish I'd taken a photo of the gorgeous large fruit flan which I bought as my son's birthday cake surprise. Fruit Flan is his absolute favourite!It looked and tasted so luscious, with soft creamy-textured custard, beautifully topped with strawberries, kiwi fruit, apple slices, raspberries and blueberries. A superb quality, delicious dessert.

Really good pastries. Sometimes pastries being sold at cafes seem to be too commercial, but the pastries here look great and taste good. I regret not getting the carrot cake!

Went on a Sunday but there was no bread or pastry. So disappointed. Bought a Portuguese tart but it was very cold, must have been in the fridge for a long time, even the tart crust was so soggy. Ice long black was not bad.

Oaks Avenue Patisserie & Fine Bakery
I bought a plain sponge cake to decorate myself for an Easter party!! I was making a special Swedish princess cake. They made my cake to order to the size I wanted on the morning of the lunch. Our guests who are professional chefs said the sponge tasted good quality. I also bought little eggs and rabbit cup cakes for decorations. They also have little marzipan strawberries which I think would be amazing for birthday decorations too. The owner said I could ask about different shapes. Thank you Oaks Patisserie for helping with my party. Next birthday I will consider doing the same because it is a lot easier for working mothers if someone helps make the sponge cake fresh in the morning for decoration!!
