Yiani's Greek Restaurant
Chose this restaurant at random, it was just down the road from our accommodation and we noticed it as we were walking past. While checking the menu on the window one of the staff came out and asked if she could help. She was friendly, confident and not at all pushy and we made a reservation for that night.When we arrived we were greeted by another staff member who was also very friendly. The food was amazing, we ordered the crispy barramundi and the slow cooked lamb. The dishes looked great, but better still they tasted great. Two of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. So lucky we walked past when we did.

What a wonderful family restaurant that feels like they are welcoming you into their home instead of their restaurant. The service is phenomenal, the atmosphere good and the food simple but deliscous for adults and kids.We went in two nights in a row and would go back to coolum again just to experience this wonderful restaurant again.

Hugely disappointed! The dips were too salty, in general the food wasn't made with love , the fish was not fresh falling apart, it was like it was frozen and definitely unseasoned. The salad was dry capsicum and a couple of olives, no dressing and the lemon potatoes were not made in lemon, they were 5 French fry potato with a slice of lemon on the side. Wasn't sure if that was the lemon for the fish or for me to add to the potato's. Having been in Greece for the last 6 months I was so happy to enjoy some Greek food again but it was the most disappointing meal I've ever had. On a positive note, the waitresses were lovely . Future tip, the chef should taste his food before it leaving the kitchen.

The food here was delicious, coming from a Greek Australian that speaks volumes. The atmosphere was great, but the standout was the staff and the owner, Yianni himself. I felt looked after, like i was family, and i will definitely be back. This place was the stand out for me on my stay in coolam on the Sunshine coast

Absolutely wonderful.The food here is fresh, authentic and really tasty.The beverage menu is also amazing with many top Greek and Australian beer and wine selections.The prices are very reasonable and the food is served promptly.I find Yiani and his staff to be friendly, attentive and fun, which make my visits always so enjoyable.

We dined at this restaurant twice while in Coolum. Great food and great atmosphere. Thanasi our waiter was very helpful with any question. It is BYO wine only. We would recommend and hopefully will return one day..

Ordered Christaki’s combination. Portion is huge, more than enough for 3 people. Lots of meat and seafood. Would be great to add in more salad and vegetables.

Went to Yiani’s for a Saturday dinner. All the servers were incredibly polite and the food was gorgeous and authentic. The owner was extremely passionate about what he does and reminded me exactly what hospitality should be. Absolutely an amazing night and one of the best restaurants in Coolum
