Don is a rare beast ! He calls a spade a spade and will tell you in no uncertain terms what you are up for in terms of money and time. He has fixed everything from a faulty brake light on our horse float to dropping a new high performance engine in my ute. If you are after wise advice and top quality repairs/service look no further and count yourself lucky to have found him.

I would not be recommending this business to anyone. We bought a car that had recently had well over $7000 of work done to fix the oil leaks at ACDC. A matter of days later it was leaking oil again but I was satisfied I would be looked after as it had a 3 month warranty attached to the works. But no, Don convinced me the leaks were coming from elsewhere, a region on the engine he hadn’t originally fixed.Second opinions from another couple of mechanics told me to go back to Don as 100% it should be covered and the leaks were extensive all over the engine. But Don still refused to acknowledge and honour the warranty or even agree for my husband to bring the car back and Don show him how the leaks weren’t there before as he is more mechanically minded than me.Either Don lied to us or he completely ripped off the previous owners and charged them big money for a Band-Aid fix.. either way it is obvious he does not give two hoots about the customer once the money is in his pocket.Legal measures ended up being too timely and expensive to pursue so I am hoping that at least one person reads this and avoids a costly and stressful experience like I have had.Don - Do better.

I have Personal dealings with AC/DC over many years and will continue to use there business for a wide range of mechanical requirements.They are always very helpful and knowledgeable in many specialised fieldsMechanical work is not cheap and many poepte often under estimate the time involved in fixing mechanical issuesDom and Pete have always kept me informed with the progress and or additional cost if things changesGreat people to deal with

My Range Rover we over heating and was losing oil, I took it to ACDC and right away Don thought he knew what it might be. After a close inspection his suspicions were confirmed. It was a big job and Don kept me informed and explained all that was to happen to repair. On completion Don showed me all the parts that were replaced and explained what the fault was with them. I was most impressed with the work carried out and will be happy to take my cars there for ongoing servicing and repair. Thanks Don job well done.Stephen

Excellent service and a job extremely well done. As well as the general service (which was shockingly 27k overdue) they installed a new automatic window motor and new air filters for the cabin and the engine. My car drove perfectly 3 hours to home and was again a pleasure to drive. Thank you ACDC team, I’ll be back!I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ACDC.
