I called Lotus a few times to raise my concerns/feedback and waited for two weeks before posting this, however, it seems the manager, especially Maryam, does not care about her customers. This reason, and the ones that I have noted below, is why I feel I am fair in giving only 1 star to them.Not only is my hair damaged and dried after getting it coloured, but the colour is not what I had asked for. I was given a haircut, probably to take off the damaged hair post-bleaching, which I am still disappointed with. The worst part is that my roots have a different colour with a copper/orange tone which is nothing like the colour that is meant to be. The service and the respect that I have received from this place as a customer is appalling and I have never experienced this before.

I’m a new customer to Lotus Hairdressing and as soon as I walked in, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. Maryam was an expert with her advice and I came away with a lovely cut and blow dry. I have rebooked for a colour and cut and look forward to Maryam weaving her magic once again!

Went for a scalp treatment. But had the worst experience ever. Firstly staff wasn’t friendly. They didn’t asked or observe the scalp before the treatment. Straight away wash the hair. All they did was shampoo, conditioner and a blow dry. Massage didn’t last for two minutes even.Not worth for the money. Nothing different to what i usually do with my hair while showering.If I can give negative marks it’s definitely a -10/10.

I'm pretty upset with the outcome of my haircut here. I went in with very long hair. I asked for a cut of about 3 inches with a very long layer. She cut all of my hair about 8 inches leaving only a very very thin, ratty underneath layer at the length I asked. This layer was so thin and totally unintegrated with the rest, that I had to have it cut off too. I went from having rib length hair, to just past my collar bones. She was kind and friendly, and she did a nice job of the blow dry so I'll give 2 stars for that but the cut was really bad. Perhaps other staff are better, this was with Talisha. I am going through waves of grief. At least 2 years of patient growth gone. Not a good feeling. I won't be coming back.

I came here for a haircut and loved their work so much that I ended up getting my hair coloured on the same day. Hands down the best salon in Melbourne. The salon staffs were very friendly and professional.The salon itself was bright, modern, and impeccably clean, which made for a very comfortable and relaxing environment. The hairstylist who attended to me was highly skilled and attentive, and made sure to take the time to understand what my hair actually needed and what would look good on me.Besides that my hair colour came out beautifully, and it was evident that the stylist had a great deal of experience and expertise in this area. I trust her work and the outcome was brilliant.Overall, I would highly recommend this salon to anyone in need of a great hair cut and colouring. Thank you to the team at this salon for an amazing experience!

I had a wonderful experience at Lotus hair salon! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and they really listened to what I wanted. The work was professional and my hair colour turned out exactly how I wanted it. They also gave me great advice about what products to use to maintain my colour. Highly recommend this place for any haircare needs!
