Midtown Pet Centre

Not a great experience at all! Very nice to talk to but no follow throughOur 15 year old Labradoodle stayed recently for 11 nights, we even took his food, toys and treats for the stay just so things would be as normal as possible, especially his diet.But on picking him up we found he was confused, hadn't been brushed, was full of knots and had lost more than 3kg weight in that short time!He also had Kennel Cough which we had to treat with antibiotics. Thankfully he's ok now and will never be taken there again.

This was LouLou's first ever stay in a kennel, we were a bit worried leaving her but she was in very good hands. She must have had a lot of fun as she was exhausted for a week after returning home. We highly recommend the team at Midtown and a return visit in July. Thank you David and team for looking after our fur baby.

So happy with the services provided by Midtown Pet Centre! All the staff were super friendly and welcoming.I felt really bad on arrival, as my cat had made a mess in his cage due to being scared, but the staff were so understanding and compassionate about it!My cat stayed for a full week in one of their suites, and seemed happy and healthy when I picked him up. He even smelled nice like he had been bathed.I would highly recommend this place if you care about your pet, as you know they will be taken care of properly for the duration of their stay!

NB. Late review.....We dropped off our 2 y.o puppy/furbaby here from 1st to 23rd August 2022 and I was so shocked & upset to see the state my puppy was in when we got him home.He was so unkempt with bad odour (personal & dental hygiene!) although we were promised that he will be bathed prior to us picking him up but this didn't happened!! His hair was literally so matted everywhere that it took me almost 2 hours to brush them out....NOT happy Jan and clearly my boy was simply neglected is all I can summed it up to! :((((So please Don't believe what you see from the beautiful photos presentations on their website and what they promise you and definitely Beware!!!Furthermore, all I can say is if you love your furbabies please I strongly advise you to DO NOT leave them at this kennel bc from personal experience.....I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! :(((((

Our 1 year old Beagle loved his stay here... he was exhausted after lots of play for the week! But we feel incredibly comfortable leaving him with the wonderful staff at Midtown

I have been using MidTown Pet Centre for a few years now and Sam and Brian love all the pets like they are their own. My 2 Cavoodles get so excited when they get there, they can't wait to leap out of the car. The staff take very good care of them and the facilities are so clean and well thought out and they don't charge extra to walk your dog like some places do. They even care so much for the pets that they go and sit with them during thunderstorms when some pets get scared. I also have my dogs regularly groomed there and they always come back looking beautiful and they smell amazing and their price is very good. I never worry when I have to leave my 2 dogs with them and I like that they can share together because they don't like being away from each other. I have always been very happy with MidTown Pet Centre's customer service and caring attitude. Thanks for taking such good care of my dogs :)UPDATE 2022. I was told they have NEW owners since this review I did 6 years ago. I sent a friend there recently, I was raving to her how great they were, I did not know that they had changed hands. My friend was very unhappy, her dog was stressed and was very dirty and not washed as promised. She said she will not be going back. Such a shame because when the other 2 guys ran it, it was awesome.

Thank you very much David, Wendy and the team for taking such wonderful care of our two dogs, Bikkie and Scruffy recently. You did a fantastic job and they will be returning again for another stay hopefully in the not too distant future. I have no hesitation in recommending Midtown Pet Centre and thank you for doing all the things that you had to do for my two, especially Bikkie. It is greatly appreciated. Kind Regards Kay

Eddie our 2yr old Jack Russell & Tiger our elderly cat have just spent 5 nights at Midtown . The staff at Midtown are fantastic , very caring towards our pets. We were very concerned with Eddie as he can be very full on and it was his 1st time away from us, but he had a great time , was very happy to be there. The facilities are great and very secure. Can highly recommend Midtown . We will definitely be using them again when we go away.

Before Midtown Pet Centre my little Bella had never boarded at a pet motel and I had always been nervous about leaving her anywhere! As soon as we arrived her tail was wagging and the owners welcomed her with open arms. Half way through the trip Midtown uploaded a gorgeous photo of her and kept in contact about her boarding experience (which was amazing!). When we came to pick her up at the end of the trip she didn't want to leave!! We then booked her in again for a few nights recently for a stay and a groom. She looked so gorgeous (the best grooming she has ever received) and she again did not want to leave! I will always use and recommend Midtown Pet Centre!
