Kane Muir's a fantastic teacher! Incredibly knowledgeable on the ins and outs of theory and able to break it down to bite sized chunks while still keeping lessons streamlined and fun to follow along with.After over a year of lessons with him I felt confident in my versatility across the fretboard, my ability to analyze & pick apart the songs I love, as well as having a bunch of fun tracks to play and impress with. Highly recommend!

Kane is a both an incredible musician and teacher. He breaks everything down to make you really understand the fundamental elements that make up a song. In just two sessions with Kane, I learnt how to play blackbird in its entirety. My progress is noticeable after every lesson and I’m always left feeling inspired to practice and learn more. Highly recommend Kane!

Why fret - Guitar Lessons
Kane taught me guitar for a couple of years while he lived on Sydney's Northern Beaches. He is very focused on helping you learn and apply techniques that set you up to continue your journey in the future. He also focuses on teaching understanding of what is going on technically in each song. We worked together on a number of themes including fingerpicking, blues and eventually some lead arpeggios. I even wrote my first song with his help! He's personally a brilliant guitarist and, rather annoyingly, can teach you a song he's never heard before after looking at a youtube video.

Kane is an amazing teacher!! He tuned into my needs to create individual lessons and taught in a way that’s easy to digest. I could feel myself improving even after the first lesson. He’s also one of the most talented guitar players I know. Highly recommend!

Never thought I’d be able to learn an instrument until I met Kane. We connected after one of his gigs and told me that he teaches music theory. After six months and allot of patience, Kane thought me how to play the guitar, read music and transition to play other instruments. He is truly a gifted musician and a great person!
