Maisies River House

Gorgeous and well set up cottage, perfect for families. Or two couples. There’s plenty of space to spread out, comfy beds and a really fabulous/ well equipped kitchen. The nearby boat ramp is very convenient if you’ve got a boat. Walking around Nelligen reveals the rich historical character of this old village.

Lovely neat and tidy place, really relaxing time and feels like part of the little village and less than a hundred steps to the waters edge. Excellent for boaties wanting to do the river and only 12 mins flat out by boat to the oyster shop at Batemans bay

Just spent a terrific long weekend at the magical Maisies River Cottage. A very thoughtfully renovated cottage with all you could wish for and plenty of designer touches. Comfortable bedrooms with sumptuous Queen beds, luxurious linens, towels and furnishings. A homely lounge area with an open log fire to relax in and a kitchen that I just wanted to pack up and bring home! There was everything you could want in terms of cooking and entertaining.At the end of the lane was the River Cafe for coffees and good brekky options whilst watching the bird life and Clyde river glide past.We visited lots of stunning beaches in the nearby area and did some beautiful walks whilst also helping out cafes and restaurants sampling their breakfasts, cakes and coffee options. A must visit was cafe Espresso 366 at Mosquito Bay. Their breakfast options were delicious and the Creme Brûlée doughnut was divine!Thank you Valia for a fabulous weekend away with the family and we will be sure to spread the word about your divine cottage.

The serenity of Maisies is magical.The amenities were spotless, the bed was unbelievably comfortable and the kitchen was fabulous with a fantastic well stocked kitchen. The hubby loved that we could park our boat in the backyard safety stored. Great weekend getaway, great price and highly recommend this to everyone. And bonus is that it is Dog friendly.
