Booked my 2019 VW Touareg for a 60,000KM service on 9 June 2023. My experience is summarised below. After reading this, would you book your car for a service here?1. Booked the 60,000KM service online. The online booking confirmed that my service cost estimate would be $477. I book the courtesy bus drop off and pick up service.2. Arrive for the scheduled service. Was told that the service cost was $1,300 because it was a major service". When I informed the service assistant I was told that I must have clicked the wrong KM interval. My booking confirmation confirmed that I didn't book the wrong KM interval. I informed the service technician that the satellite navigation needed attention as it was not operating properl. The service assistant made a note of this and said it would be loooked at.3. I was informed that the courtesy bus service no longer drops clients to their home address before 1000am but I could be dropped off at a designated point (in my case Manly Wharf). I said it would have been good to have been informed of this at the time of the booking.4. I was informed the car would be ready for collection at 4:00pm that day. I ask for the courtesy bus to collect me and was informed that the bus would not be available and that I would need to make my own way to the service centre.5. I arrive to collect the car at the time advised and was told that the car "would be ready in 15 minutes". The car service was completed at 5:20pm.6. I was walked through the service report but no mention made of the satellite navigation fault. The service assistant informs me that she will just go to speak with the service technician for me. She returns to inform me that I would need to book the vehicle in on another day "becuase this is a 4 hour job". I inform the service assistance that they have had the vehicle for over 9 hours. No response.7. I inform the service assistant that this has not been a great service experience for me. She agrees and apologises and assures me that she will speak with the service manager about my experience today.8. As at the date of writing the review (over 1 week since the service took place) I have received no call or communication from the service manager with any attempt to explain what happened
