Aden Hotel Mudgee

The interior of the room is good and that’s where it ends. Construction going on so everything was closed and fencing up everywhere, only 10 percent discount when it should’ve been way more. Housekeeping rudest people I’ve ever come across. We were still sleeping at 9:30am when they started banging on our door and woke us up (which is fine, that wasn’t the issue) we couldn’t get to the door quick enough so we just yelled out politely from bed that we didn’t need it. I then hear the man outside say “don’t even bother servicing it, that’s manners eff them”. I was genuinely shocked to have been sworn at, I couldn’t believe how disgusting it was, for a paying customer. Never ever coming back here and I wouldn’t recommend to others either, there’s plenty of other nice places in town. Also noise from the road is so loud you feel like you’re sleeping in the middle of a highway. Don’t come here.

The rooms are OK but that's about it. Was told when we booked that some of the rooms were being renovated but it would not affect us. We drove straight past because we didn't realise it was a Motel and had to U turn and find the entrance. The place is basically a construction site, definitely not just some renovations. Had to move car several times to let trades vehicles through. Morning we left Excavator started digging at 7.00am. There are better places to stay in Mudgee and enjoy the great wineries than this place at the moment.

Excellent & clean accommodation. A little out of town, yet only a 5 minute drive away which made for a good nights sleep free from traffic. Peter was so helpful in giving us information on where to visit & places to eat at. Really enjoyed our stay & would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at this hotel twice, and both times - I can not fault it! One time, it was raining, and we had water come into the room, and they were able to quickly move us into another room. The rooms don't have a microwave.Rooms are very comfortable, always clean and tidy. One thing I would suggest is to take spare shoes for the bathroom as the bathroom floor becomes a puddle after a shower due to lack of drainage.It is a 5 min driving distance from the town centre. Convenient location.

After reading all the bad reviews of traffic noise, etc; this was probably one of the best places to stay in Mudgee, the site manager were superbly friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and tidy, Everything Works, no broken hot water, no faulty heater, just check in relax and just be careful of RBT around the corner. ps- the traffic noise is not that bad, only in the morning, also they are rebranding with reno completing in Aug 23

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long while! I love the new renos, everything is nice and fresh. They are still under renovation for the rest of the complex but this doesn’t hinder your stay. Free parking, wifi and keyless front doors. They were very accommodating with a later check out so I could finish a meeting. Look forward to returning and seeing it complete!

A great place to stay. Rooms are lovely, nice linen, pillows and bed. Bathroom and shower head are great. Staff are professional and nice.It looks like they are upgrading the outsides, so it will be better once that is done. I have to say it's convenient having your car accessible right outside your door.You will hear the cars on the road as it is on a main road, but at night it's not a problem as there isn't much traffic.An easy flat 1.5km walk to the centre of town, which is even nicer if you take the back streets.I would stay here again.

We stayed two nights at the Aden Motel and were absolutely impressed with our experience.From the warm welcome we received upon reception to the friendly service from Peter, the manager over the weekend we felt that we were welcome visitors and felt confident that almost anything we required would be taken care of.The rooms have been extensively renovated and look amazing. As good as any room we’ve stayed in anywhere!On arrival we noticed that our room was spotlessly clean and staff had the air conditioning on to warm the room for our arrival.Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure was available always.Tea and coffee making facilities are provided as is complimentary bottled water.The motel is about a 20 minute walk to the centre of town , or more importantly for us about a 10 minute walk to a fabulous French patisserie. Ask Peter where it is!Take no notice of the exterior. The motel is undergoing a full refurbishment and the exterior is due to commence soon . Supposedly ready by next July.We’ll return to Mudgee and for sure we’ll stay at Aden Motel without hesitation!Thanks to all staff for their hospitality, professionalism and friendliness!

The team at Adena made our short stay easy and very pleasant. The rooms are looking great and were excellent value. Close drive to many vineyards and middle of town

Motel appears to have been recently renovated (as at Oct 2022) and a good job done (there appears to be some exterior work ongoing but that didn't impact the stay) with a modern well furnished room. Room was spacious, great shower with good water pressure and comfortable beds. Not as central as some other places but we walked from the far end of Mudgee to the motel in about 20 mins, or it is a $10 cab ride so really not an issue. Would stay again for sure.
