It's very eh, the food is edible and the bread is okish, they do have some really great snacks which is keeping this from a 1 star, ovl just go to U1R better prices better food better staff

The BEST Bakers Delight bread in the whole of NSW in my opinion. I drive for over an hour to stock up on their perfect loaves of High Fibre Low GI bread and rolls. They keep exceptionally well in my chest freezer and I order every fortnight. There are other Bakers Delight stores closer to where I live, but they don't produce as fresh, perfectly sized, textured bread as the store at Maitland. The customer service is always very friendly and professional. Since I am a regular customer I have developed a great rapport with the store manager/franchise owner. They also have a great customer loyalty program where you can earn free items after a certain spend.

Purchased 6 lemon tarts and 6 mango and passion fruit tarts. Pastry definitely undercooked (too blonde) on the lemon tarts predominantly impacting on the flavour which was disappointing given the cost.

staff members need smile and communicate with customers nicely not give off a bad attitude showing customers you hate your job. thornton bakers delight could teach your staff genuine customer service like they have.

Bakers Delight Pender Place
Purchased a cheesy mite scroll today. A little while later when I went to eat it I found it was about half the height of the scrolls that were on display and a bit dry and bordering on being hard. Just not the usual soft and sort of fluffy scroll I usually get.I suspect it was old yesterday's product.Shame on the store for having the good ones on display but giving out the bad ones first.

My experience was not as described by others. Staff were surly and bordering on rude and impatient. Usual range of Bakers Delight breads.
