Good value for money with purchasing fruits and vegetables is you can make it closer to the closing time. For $30 bucks I was able to purchase plenty of stuff that I could have not bought at major supermarkets

I went to Sydney Market on Sunday, which people here is literally holiday. There were some shops in variety products. But, some were closed.

Very busy during the weekend. If you are planning for groceries then they are open on Sat and on Sun you can find lots of Chinese electronics and clothes at reasonable prices.The prices of veggies and fruit are very cheap but you will have to buy in bulk. Very economical for medium to large families

Fresh and affordable place to buy your Fruits, Fish and Vegetables

Good place to buy fruit and veggies in bulk. Some vendors fruit and veggies quality are better than others. Normally the cheapest one you get don’t last for more 3days even you leave them in the fridge. If you are willing to pay a little more (you still pay less comparing with shopping in supermarket ) you deft get a much bigger better sweeter fruit than in supermarkets.

It's so easy to get lost here, and I don't mean that just cause it's huge. The display of suppliers and vegetables are impressive, it's open to the public and I recommend checking it out to get an idea of what's in season.

I dunno … I get the racist vibes at Flemington. Good shopping and fresh food sure … and fun, I’m not sure I’ll take the kids again for the tax dodge hard bargaining with no prices shown on a lot of shops here.

A wonderful shopping experience. Be it to purchase fruits , vegetables , flowers , live chickens , hardware, garden stuff and lots more. This place can be easily reached by train as well.There is plenty of parking onsite , head for the terrace parking to avoid delays. You can get carts for hire at 3-4 dollars plus a deposit but you’ll have to return them to the same counter to get the refund of the deposit which can be a pain given the extra walk to and back to the parking lot.The variety of vegetables and fruits is great. Take a look around before making your purchase as you find few variations in price and quality of products.There is a sea food section as well towards the back of the market.There is a cafe in the market to refresh yourself with a coffee or light snacks.The market is open to public only on Saturdays. Head there early (market opens at 5 AM!) to get the best produce.
