My first time I've eaten at the Brookland. The food was amazing! I had steak with prawns added, it was really good I couldn't pick any fault with it at all. There was five of us for dinner and we all had fantastic food. The service was also great. The only fault I could find is the ice cream is a peters little cardboard bucket which was a bit of a let down after a fantastic meal, however it definitely would not stop us returning. Best pub meal I've had in a long time to be honest.

UPDATE: 12/2022Hit & miss with food and services. Sometimes delicious food e.g. juicy tender ribs with fresh salads other times very dry and hard and salad no so fresh. Steak was quite tough though. Customer services mostly disappointing but occasionally with lovely staff. Recent experience with the lady (manager?) at the bar who looked so grumpy, inpatient and annoyed. However, a floor waitress (Asian girl) was so lovely and friendly and even smiled as she walked past the table.Used to love this place and have given a 5 star review in the past. Unfortunately I’ve had to update my review and it’s now worth 1-star only from the most recent experience (2-star only because food is ok). To start off, daily/chef specials can now only be ordered via the me&u QR code where if you (& a lot of elders) are not tech savvy or do not have a credit card, you won’t be able to enjoy the daily specials if you order through a waitstaff. Unfortunately this also means anything ordered via me&u cannot be used in conjunction with the Entertainment Book offer. In addition to all of this, you also get charged service fee for ordering online. Shouldn’t it be less cost as it’s reducing staff labour time?Secondly, the wait time is absolutely ridiculous. It took more than 30mins just to get our drink (one beer)… surely it doesn’t take that long to pour beer out of the tap?? Next, our food took more than 50mins from the time we placed the order via the silly me&u to arrive at the table. Then we discovered that the staff has given us the wrong meal information when we specifically asked about it in the beginning. Luckily the other waitstaff and manager came to address it but it was too late as we already ordered drinks separately.To top off all that, my wine arrived with lipstick stain on the glass :( What a horrific experience!!! Not sure if I want to ever return again!

Lovely place to have a bite to eat or a nice beverage. Also has a kids play area. The service was fast and friendly and you can order from your table. All of our food ordered was fresh and tasty and they have a good variety at reasonable prices. The bar was very busy but kept flowing and there are lots of TVs showing sports. Very happy with our visit.

Food is average at best. Do not order the steak. Repeat do not order the steak. Terrible charcoal taste in my mouth with every bite, really takes away from the flavour of the meat. Steak very thin and tasteless, overpriced for what is served. Small portions and expensive cost.

Been a frequent customer here for about 6 years. Always had great staff and atmosphere, food has always been good. However the food over the last couple of months has gone up a couple levels to outstanding. The new steak sandwich OMG!!

Friendly staff,Great meals as always, had the chicken parmigiana special value for your money!I ordered a garlic sauce on the side, it definitely was not what i ordered the wife tried it and agreed with me. Spoke to a staff member and she said that it was, I asked her to try it! However she didn't. I don't know if she spoke to the team in the kitchen about it that was the only thing that was disappointing! Normally would give a 5 star rating as we have been there a few times
