Went for dinner kept having to return to my wife to re-decide what she wanted for dinner cause it took 4 turns trying to order a meal due to them not having the stock. Very annoying and took away from the dinner.

We had the best meal here. Beautiful pub outdoor area kids playground. Great garlic bread. The rump & ribs were so tender. Love their salad dressing too.Staff were friendly, nothing was a problem. Service was great even though it was a busy Wed eve.

The room was clean and functional... A double bed and a single bed plus towels, a TV and air con. Shared bathroom/toilets. No rubbish bin, nowhere to hang wet towels. We booked for 4 people though, so the 3 beds was a surprise, as was the shared bathroom and lack of things like a kettle or rubbish bin. It was the cheapest accommodation in town however so hey, not intending to complain.The pub beneath looked lavish and had a grouse playground for the kids. Kids eat free on Tuesday nights, so it was a shame we stayed on a Monday!

Absolutely 'pumping' on Mothers' Day.Lineup for food orders insane!Staff under the pump but kept cool and calm and did a great job.All food that came out looked great.Enjoyed a nice meal, live music, atmosphere and of course the company.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced. Do not go there especially if you have children. Over 2 hours waiting for our food and when we asked multiple times they said “2 minutes away”Ended up getting our money back with no hesitation from them.

Nice hotel, clean room, clean share bathroom, hot shower. They also have a good food. Very friendly staff. Good recovery for any problem, we arrived at there with bad weather raining and the power shut down the hotel. We need to wait for more than an hour until the hotel can fully running, but the staff really helpful.

I stayed at the Garden Hotel on Sunday 5th March, booking in was easy and efficient (at bar). All the staff I came into contact with were friendly and helpful. If you arrive by train or bus this hotel is only 200 metres to your left, it is also close to the city centre. I stayed in room 6, it has its own bathroom (which has been renovated, very nice), the room was very clean and tidy, it has a air-conditioner and TV, bed was comfortable. The noise from the hotel was not loud enough to bother me (I'm a 62 year old female).Down side is my room was upstairs so be prepared (not sure all rooms are upstairs). Management could we please have some new fluffy pillows and could we have 4 on a queen size bed, also the community kitchen needs new tea towels urgently.I did eat downstairs at the hotel, good food and convienant.

Terrible stay, the shared kitchen was trashed by the second night of the stay. Rubbish and food scraps left on benches, and the shared microwave was repulsive. Other guests were extremely loud, playing music and slaming doors at all hours of the night. Bedding was dirty and stained. The shared bathroom was disgusting and not very well kept. Staff were rude, disinterested, and unhelpful. I would not recommend this to anyone, even though it was a cheap stay.
