If you don't understand what the word 'artisan' means, you will think this place is overpriced.You are paying for hand crafted baked goods, which shows in everything from taste to presentation.The service I received from their little hole in the wall was exemplary. Really lovely lady served me.They have an abundance of variety & I was lucky enough to try the lotus brownie. If I had a negative point, the best I could do was the brownie being a tiny dry on outside. I suspect from being in an open air cabinet. The rest of it was without fault.They also charge a 1.9% surcharge on all eftpos transactions which is understandable but in this day & age with our reliance on technology in my point of view unnecessary.If you appreciate a great artisan baked good, this is highly recommended.

I could not have been happier with the cake I ordered for my daughter's first birthday! Right from the start the girl's were so happy to help with all of my questions and gave me several options of cakes they could take inspiration from in designing mine. The end result was phenomenal and I will definitely order from Baked by M&G again - without a doubt! Thank you ladies for such a beautiful cake and an all round stress-free experience!!

Mel was so professional and helpful in organising the dessert wall for our daughter’s 18th party. The cupcakes, brownies and cookies were delicious with not a crumb left by the end of the night! Such a fun alternative to a birthday cake, would highly recommend. Thank you M&G

Mel & Georgia did an amazing job at creating the perfect cake for our twins Christening (maybe it’s a twin thing :P)! We had some dietary requirements which the girls took in their stride & you definitely could not tell as the cake tasted that good! If I could give 6 out of 5 stars I would. Highly highly recommended!

This cake was literally the most delicious cake I have ever had! It looked incredible and was SO DELICIOUS! Everyone kept coming up to me and asking who made it! If I could express post one of their cakes to our wedding in Melbourne I WOULD! Mel & Georgia are also so so lovely to speak with and were so helpful the entire process! Would highly recommend getting your cake here!

We were looking for a nice cake for a special birthday…what we got was an incredible cake that made the day perfect!You could not only see, but taste the love, care, and attention to detail that you put into this cake.The continuous remarks of delight by everyone eating was testament to the outstanding work you both do. The flavours were beautifully balanced. The presentation was stunning. It was amazing!!Every aspect of this experience (yes, it’s was an experience…the ordering, the delivery, the waiting impatiently to eat it, the feeling of pure joy eating it, and the memories of a truly special day), was perfect.Yes this is a lot of praise for a cake…but it was really that good!!You should be endlessly proud of the wonderful experiences you create.Thank you (:
