Nice little cafe in Lorne, our short stopover on the way to 12 Apostles. The 'Reuben' was excellent. Loved the sourkraut in the flatbread.The avo, bacon and sourdough toast was nice.Loved the latte art on our coffee!

Very nice coffee but one of the male staff made you feel as though you were an inconvenience with no greeting or acknowledgement whatsoever. The female staffer who brought out the food was very nice. Yes the coffee was very good as was the food but I wish it was brought out at the same time. We'd finished our coffee by the time food arrived - maybe that's a tactic to get you to order more?

‘Where can I get a great cup of coffee here in Lorne?’ I asked many, and the resounding answer was ‘Moons’.This cafe sits on the main drag of Lorne and is quite unassuming - no big signs advertising them [tiny sign on the door], in fact, it took me a while to find them - the long queues should have been the giveaway…You have the opportunity to sit inside or out. I was lucky enough to share a picnic table with a few local cockatoos, which is a novelty, and people walking their dogs.Moons Espresso Bar has a chilled atmosphere, which could be because the beach is across the road. It is a meeting place for locals and tourists alike and a great way to find out where to get a great meal or the best walks to do.Serving specialty Coffee Supreme South Blend and breakfast, brunch and lunch. The freshly squeezed juice combinations are in high demand. The menu is healthy and caters for a range of dietary needs.Their kitchen is small, and the chef works manically to complete the flow of orders to a uniform standard. The baristas do their job efficiently and with a smile on their face, which is commendable due to the sheer amount of orders and the occasional wingers who want things done yesterday!Moons Licensed Espresso Bar - worth a visit to chillax and get that caffeine fix.RecommendationsLong black - rich and strong enough to get you bouncing for whatever the day has in store for you.Avocado, bacon and poached eggs on sourdough - generous serving and tasty.Morning Glory Juice - OJ, apple, carrot and ginger.

Fantastic cafe with a delicious offering of breakfast, smoothies and coffee. For a very busy cafe on the Lorne, possibly only one open when we visited, staff were fast and friendly, serving everyone with a smile.

This place was super busy at midday. We got coffee and food. Toasted pitas were delish, and the granola bowl was probably enough to feed two!Coffees were a bit lacking though. Mine was a bit burnt and I had to add sugar to it.

$70 for 2 ordinary meals... this is a very expensive brunch and the food is soso... just not worth it. Also the service needs to improve. Will avoid next time.

Brunch @ Moons Espresso Bar..Beautiful wild cockatoo perched at the table's edge..This cozy cafe is right across the beach, and is well regarded for its excellent coffee and quasi-British-Turkish-Mexican dishes.

Delicious brunch for 6 adults and 2 children and everyone was happy. Nice selection of items on the menu. Great coffee and yummy cakes too. Especially impressed with the welcoming, friendly attitude of all the staff.

Coffee good. Food not up to scratch for the price. $27 for eggs, avo, bacon on bread, shame to see the yoke not runny. Sandwiches nice.
