Lovely setting and the view from the back over the countryside is stunning, great spot for kids. The food is reasonable standard pub fare, service was very friendly. Only gripe would be the not great smells coming from the bathroom, be sure to sit away from them if that’s an ongoing problem!

Normally a great place to travel to and eat. Recently, attempted to phone several times immediately after opening time to make a booking. Every time phone just rang out. Drove there in hope to have lunch with friends. Totally booked out! How about a phone message if you are booked out? Drove to Moss Vale Services Club for meal.

I've never stayed here but I've eaten here on a number of occasions. Food is great and reasonably priced, especially for the Highlands. Nice house wine. Staff are really great. Lovely ambience inside and out. This is a very old building and they've done a great job of modernizing it without destroying the old narrow bars and small salon. There's a very large dining room out the back. Fires and gas heaters throughout. Lots of room for children to run outside. Parking areas are pressed earth and gravel, so have been badly affected by recent rains, floods, etc but no doubt that will be sorted. Not too sure about access for people with mobility issues, I'd suggest you ring ahead. Today I had cauliflower tacos and they were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended

We stumbled across the Sutton Forest Inn when a number of touring bikes pulled into the carpark - so we followed them!The back half of the pub is very well laid out, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The food menu is extensive and the meals we saw leave the pass (along with ours) looked substantial and appetising.The front half is a little “rabbit warren” like - but the bar staff are knowledgeable and there is a good selection of “standard” and rotating “craft beers”.We’d definitely recommend giving it a try when you’re in the vicinity.

It’s a country pub… but with something extra that makes it so nice. The food is really nice, the outdoor area spacious with the scent of jasmine, great views and a playground for kids. A really great spot for a break along the highway.

This is my second visit to this wonderful hidden secret. Today we enjoyed the outdoors with stunning views for my mum's birthday. The ladies enjoyed the sunshine, drinks and a lovely lunch. Pork Belly Bites & Chicken Schnitzel. Very relaxed atmosphere, great service and lovely people. Thank you.

What a precious find...stumbled across this pub whilst driving around Southern Highlands. Food was great quality...nice range of beers on tap (some local ones as well). Country scenery was beautiful...what a great atmosphere!! Staff were friendly and service was great. Suggest to make booking for Fri night and over weekend...saw lady writing heaps of reservation cards.

We had a lovely pub meal here. It's your stock standard menu - burgers, schnitzel, fish and chips etc. We had the pie of the day and Angus beef burger. Both were very good and delicious.Food was pricier than expected, but the drinks were more affordable. Kind of evened out. Customer service was good, and food came out fastThe view of the rolling hills and countryside were an added bonus! There's alfresco dining for the warmer seasons and a few fireplaces inside to keep cozy in winter.Be sure to book ahead of time as it does get busy!
