We loved this place, not so this time, table outside had been wiped over with a dirty cloth, streaky an sticky, had to chase them up to order, meals all three were average, disappointing compared to last visit.

10/10 rating for the two lovely girls who were so friendly to everyone they deserve a raise again not the two girls fault.0/10 for the 1 hour and 20 minutes wait in store for Take away. After all that we finally got our one small container of pasta but our Indian food is cold now

We rang late on Valentine's Night for a booking and they went out of there way to welcome us and provide us with a delicious meal, even though they were flatout! A good meal had by all. If you have limited mobility or a wheelchair, the toilet may be a challenge to get to.

Whilst the pizza was fantastic as always the service at the counter was not. No greeting when walked up to counter, three girls on not one smile when placed order reply was want anything else" . Obviously need a little more training in customer service."

Despite the hype, this place falls short in many areas.The service provided was poor and unprofessional, obviously no hospitality training was provided; no water bottle or glasses on table, not enough cutlery or serviettes on table for the 6 of us, meals handed out across the front of other diners, no drinking glass provided with the can of soft drink, no ice available and no ice buckets for the wine.The food was a mixed bag. My saltimbocca was lovely but the salad was served on the same plate and was swimming in the sauce. The other meals were fine according to my friends.Lastly my friend slipped on a VERY wet floor which had just been mopped ( no warning/advice signage) and is seeking medical attentionStay away or be prepared to be disappointed.

A great place, I sat in the outdoor section, which was well decorated and had a relaxed atmosphere. The two young women on tonight were most helpful, and the pasta Siciliana was both delicious and filling.

Decent going portions of pasta but not the most fantastic.Good range of different pasta sauces and pasta to choose from.Salad was a disappointment as its drenched in dressing.Steak was also drenched in the sauce.Free BYO at this venue

Such a wonderful Italian smell as soon as we walked in! Staff were quick to serve, and there were lots of good options on the menu. Pasta dishes were well priced, with great taste, and more than large enough to feed us. All the tables were booked, so if you want to eat in, be sure to get in early, and there were people lining up put the door for takeaway, which speaks wonders for the quality of the meal. Would easily come back again, wonderful!!

An impromptu dinner for us tonight, because we had an appointment in Cardiff. We have heard great things about this restaurant for years and thought we’d try it out. It didn’t disappoint!The meals were huge! Fresh, hot and tasty. Fresh green beans, sliced boiled spuds, carrots and broccoli! Yum! The Seafood topper on the Schnitzel was ‘as you like it’ (I chose prawns and calamari in a creamy garlic sauce) and garlic prawns were a stand out. The garlic bread was lovely. The kids loved their pasta and schnitzels. Hubby like his Pizziola (steak in a tomato sauce), which was tender and delicious. Nothing was a problem. It is a quaint ‘no frills’ décor restaurant,but the food and the lovely waitstaff made up for that. The outside seating is nice if you get a table. The ingredients used are quality - they even use decent, thick serviettes (thank you!). Highly recommend this authentic Italian Restaurant. Shame it took me so long to try it!
