Just bought a pack from this wonderful store, the ladies really seem to know what they are talking about and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend taking a look here, lots of variety of camping items.

Love this place. You will find mostly outdoor activities gears and apparels. The owner is very helpful, giving us complete information regarding the equipments required for the activity we arw going to have, so when we bought the items, we are confident that we choose the right things! And the items are still in a very good condition, with fraction of price compared to the new one.

The women who told me I can't come in without a mask needs need to read section 94H of the Australian constitution. Besides if you think masks are so great how are you compromised if your wearing a face nappy but your customers arent

I had a very poor experience selling a pair of boots through this store recently and I will not be selling my gear through them in future. As I was short on time before leaving the state for an extended period, I was obliged to sell through a store like recycled rec when I would usually sell independently through facebook marketplace. My boots were less than 12 months old bought from a local outdoor shop, Mountain Creek, goretex, vibram sole and a highly reputable brand, Asolo. Worn lightly and in excellent condition save some scuffing on the brushed goretex and soles.I paid just under $300 and was selling selling as they were slightly too large. I left them at the store after being told the manager would have to assess them to determine a price, I told the sales person that as I was leaving the next morning I would wing it and hope for a decent price.Later that day by message I was quoted a firm price of $85, which seemed highly unfair and frankly laughable. When reminded of the age, condition, and retail price, and that I was hoping for a price of at very least $100 (which is already an extremely low price) , the manager would not go above $90 and was extremely curt and unaccommodating on the phone.I had hoped that an independent local enterprise like this one, which relies on pre-loved items being passed on from local outdoors-people like myself, would value fairness and trust. On the contrary, it seems that rather than being driven by ethics of waste reduction and sustainability, this enterprise is primarily concerned with making profit. I feel I was taken advantage of in this instance as it was known I would be forced to accept a low price.I will not be recommending this store to my fellow outdoor industry professionals or the guests I guide on multi-day bushwalks.

We traveled to visit your shop specifically and were not aloud in without a mask. Alternatively we were offered to purchase one for $1. Covid is over and you have the choice to wear your own mask if you are afraid of catching it. That is your own risk

My go to shop for all things hiking and outdoors.I’m super grateful they take Covid precautions too, I do not want to share indoor air with a possible airborne pathogen and it’s a pleasure to be safe and supported to wear my face mask.Keep up the great work ✅

We are travelling around Australia and were in Hobart for the day last month, to do some much needed shopping. I was excited to see what Recycled Recreation had to offer. Upon entering the store we were told under no uncertain terms that we had to wear a mask and to pay a $1 each for the mask. This is March 2023, I said to the assist that I think it is up to the individual now as to whether they wear a mask or not (except in a medical i.e. doctors, hospitals etc) we were then told if we refused we would have to leave the store. So disappointed as we immediately felt uncomfortable by the shop assistants manner, paid the $1 each had a quick look and couldn’t wait to get out of there! So disappointed in the store and their unnecessary approach to something we have all moved on from. How does this person manage in supermarkets etc.

Been here twice, once in 2019 and found some cool stuff.Once again last week, still had reasonable collection, but seemed a bit expensive for what it was, never ran a 2nd hand store so not sure what their overheads are like.Staff were a bit abrupt, they have a mask policy, which isn't the strangest thing these days, but enforced it pretty staunchly.I'm sure they have their reasons, not sure if surgical masks are doing too much, just maybe peace of mind.Probably give it a miss next time around.

Cute shop but unfortunately the manager is fully paranoid about COVID and mask wearing. Quite frankly a miserable woman who needs to relax.

Had high expectations of purchasing, however a mask mandate to enter the store is a complete over reaction. I assume all staff are forced to be vaccinated also! I know I wouldn’t let my healthy young children work there if so. Happy for the owner to be scared of a 2 day cold for most , however they will not push the fear onto me.Owner must be severely compromised so I wish him all the best
