I'm absolutely appalled by the service that we received today. We went to this chemist at 4pm to see if we could get my sister's dressing on her knee changed. We have always had such good experiences at other Capital Chemists such as Curtin and O'Connor and I cannot recommend there client service and support high enough.One of the pharmacists said that she couldn't do this because she was knew. And that they were to busy to change her dressing. To make matters worse they were open until 6pm. There was ample time to change a dressing. The pharmacist suggested that we should go to the Phillip walk in centre. We went to the walk in centre only to be turned away because there was no nurse working today. The staff should not be in a profession when they literally have no concern about their clients well-being.

The older serving staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. Went in to get an ankle brace and they were out of stock. I just wanted to know when they would be back in stock and 2 of the (older) staff just refused to even talk to me - sorry ladies, Australia is a multicultural society and you occasionally do need to serve people of different backgrounds. Capital Chemist at Hughes & Garran now have my business

I have been attending this pharmacy since it opened. In fact Gareth the previous owner was amazing. Early this week I had the misfortune togo in and ask for a script that I left at home. This should have been asimple process as it has always been before.But no, the Pharmacist woman (front row second from right in pic) created a drama bigger than Ben Hur so I just said, this is too hard and left. I then went to Priceline who were happy to assist without all the drama.Very disappointing Priceline Mawson, I hope Stacey and Louise sort this out for future customers. The woman/pharmacist in question needs to be re-educated in how to deal with customers.

Please shop around and ask the price before you buy!!Not very happy when I bought an eye drop HYLO-Fresh from them today. They charged me $41.45, which sells for around $26-$29 in other pharmacies in Canberra - a difference of $10!From my recent experience I found that similar difference is also for other prescription medicines.I am a retiree (65+) with a list of 5+ regular prescription drugs. This means that for five medicines I will be charged extra $50 (may be more) each month.Another thing surprised me is that there is no price label on the medicine and accessories displayed on their shelves! You can only find out the price when about to pay at the cashier.So, my advice is shop around and ask the price before you buy!!

I was with a small family owned chemist in Brahma Lodge South Australia. Before I relocate to ACT. I was sad I was leaving my community chemist. 2 years on and I can say I'm happy with Capital Chemist at Mawson. They are all friendly and nothing is a bother for the team. They treat you as an important person and make you sell at home. So thanks.

There are so many staff in this Pharmacy, but it doesn’t make a difference to the service. It’s clear why after I spoke to management today.I’ve been out on hold for 45 minutes before, had lost scripts, been given the wrong medication, overcharged, undercharged, been given other peoples repeats and been very polite about it every time because the staff are very apologetic. Clearly management is poor and don’t train or treat their staff well. I’ll gladly travel an extra few kilometres to avoid giving this place my money and I hope the very friendly and caring staff find an employer more deserving of their time.

I find this a very respectful pharmacy. The staff know me by name and are kind and careful with managing my medication. They have helped with my safety and I have an account for emergencies when I have no money or not enough to cover a more expensive script. If you are having any problems that need immediate attention and are having difficulties you can ask to speak to a pharmacist and they will do their best to help you.
