We have stayed here previously a few years ago for overnight stays and were quiet happy with the rooms. We like that we are able to park out the front of our room with some cover for the car. Called in this week for an overnight stop over and found that there were new owners Sharon & Barry who were very welcoming. Sharon popped us into her favorite" room :) which we absolutely loved so much that we booked it for our return trip.Rooms are spotless

Barry and Sharon were amazing hosts!This place USED TO BE pretty ordinary until they arrived 8 months ago and turned things around. The rooms are large, spotlessly cleaned, beds are comfortable and everything feels refreshed. The home made meals are absolutely fantastic and reasonably priced. Barry and Sharon are very genuine and down to earth and clearly take pride in the business they run.Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are still seeking to improve the place further. Very reasonably priced too! Don't bother looking elsewhere, just go here! :) Its a really easy walk to the pubs/eateries in town too... :)

As someone who has spent a significant amount of time working in motels and travelling across the country, I've had the opportunity to experience a wide range of hotels. And I have to say, this motel is truly exceptional. I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.One of the first things that struck me about this motel was the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms. They are tidy, well-presented, and clearly well-maintained. Every detail has been taken care of, from the fresh and fluffy towels to the sparkling bathroom. But what really sets this place apart is the fantastic bed. I slept better here than I have in some of the most expensive hotels I've stayed in.Overall, I cannot recommend this motel enough. Whether you're travelling for business or pleasure, this is the perfect place to stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the amenities are top-notch, and the location is convenient. Trust me, you won't regret booking a room here.And the owners would LOVE you to book direct with them!

Lovely friendly staff, rooms were spotless, nice and quiet as well. Close to town if you want to walk or grab the friendly local taxi for a ride to wherever you need to go. Highly recommend this Motel.

Clean, quiet room. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to everything we needed. Only a brief stay over, but would happily stay here again.

Very comfortable stay. Bed was great so I slept like a log, room was spotless and the shower had good pressure. Nice biscuits with the tea/coffee setup and a small bowl of lollies on the table to sweeten (pun intended) things.

Stayed overnight in a family room. Sincere thanks. Comfortable, clean and staff obliging and friendly. Definitely would stay there again on my next trip to the New England district.

I stayed at Settlers Motor Inn for a night to break up my long trip, and I found everything was perfect! Barry and Sharon were amazing! The check in was a breeze, my room was clean and very welcoming, nice and warm with lights on and very quiet and comfortable. Loved the proximity to the town centre and the motorway and the quiet road outside allowed for a nice stroll in the evening. Overall a great experience staying there. Food was incredible! Complete value for money. Very highly recommended. Will definitely be coming back soon!
