Best Peking duck loaded chips. Crunchy chips, generous amount of duck and delicious sauce. Please don’t ever change.

Lovely place for oysters, especially when they do their $1 oyster Wednesdays.Fair selection of good delicious such as the lobster noodles. The sashimi pieces are cut on the thicker size which I love and the noodles are generally a very solid choice here.

Surprisingly $10 a doze oysters. I don't know where else we can find a dozen of oysters at this price. They are fresh. The shop assistants are considerable - provide ice cube to chill your oysters after purchase without even asking them. They also has a dining section - can cook fish and chips for you on the spot. Seems pretty good

(4.5 stars)An adjunct to a busy fish market, Viet Hoa Oyster Bar & Kitchen is Cabramatta’s hidden gem. I found it thanks to a tip from ABC Sydney’s Simon Marnie. Park in the cheap Dutton Lane car park and you’ll find it at the base of the concrete multi-storey building. For those (like me) who aren’t all that fond of bar stool dining, a limited number of tables sit between the glass box kitchen and the sashimi bar. From them you can watch the action in both cooking arenas simultaneously.A mixed oyster plate ($20/6) gives you three options from their interesting list that includes raw, steamed and fried options. The fresh oyster with a sweet sake vinaigrette and flying fish roe won on simplicity, though I liked the oyster with the sesame and peanut vinaigrette under red onions almost as much. For our steamed oyster we opted for spicy ginger dressing, spring onion, ginger and shallots to good effect. The surprising star was the panic-crumbed oyster ($5/each) presented on the shell with in-house tartare sauce and a gleaming orange crown of flying fish roe.A sashimi mix plate ($20) felt generously proportioned and supremely fresh. I skipped over salmon for a mix of tuna and kingfish, but you can opt for all three. We doubled up on scallop sashimi ($2/each) and clam sashimi ($1/each) to make up a six buck plate. My only complaint here was the frozen scallops needed more time to be slowly brought up to temperature. The ark shell clams were particularly tender and tasted of the sea. Round out all the proteins with some carbs. by ordering the Peking duck chips ($15). Slashed with chilli mayo and dripping with BBQ hoisin, this box of chips is absolutely loaded with skin-on Peking duck. They’re really compelling eating—if a little sweet—nothing some left-over wasabi can’t fix. The only thing that would make this meal better was wine, so remember to BYO ($2/head). Make sure you check out the fish market too: bargains abound.

Well, for the price you pay, I’ll give 5 stars. Nothing to complain. I wished the sashimis were more crispier, was that possible? :)I’ve always think that fresh sashimi, you could feel the crunch when you chew them. Not soft. I really like the oysters and seaweed, fresh and tasty.Overall for the taste, 4.5 stars. Price 6 stars ($35 for all) and service 4.5 stars. Food appearance is very nice and neat. I love it. I’d go back and try different varieties of food next time.

Many are surprised to hear that Cabramatta has good oysters, but I personally enjoy traversing out to the west for these rather than making a pit stop at the Sydney fish market- which may have good seafood but the cooking of them is average, at best.We have been here multiple times and consistently find the panko crumbled oyster to be excellent, you will want 1-3 to yourself. Scallop sashimi is always nice too.The oyster quality is good. The sake on raw oyster is great. The remaining flavours are ok.

Viet Hoa Oyster Bar and Kitchen is a unique establishment located in Cabramatta that operates as both a fish market during the day and a seafood restaurant at night. They offer an extensive selection of seafood that is incredibly fresh and prepared right in front of you.Food (5/5): The seafood is incredibly fresh and flavorful, with standout dishes including fish tacos, Peking duck loaded fries, and scallop aburi. Diners can watch the skilled chefs prepare dishes like Sydney rock oysters, Pacific oysters, and sashimi right in front of them.Service (5/5): The staff is attentive, accommodating, and always ready to cater to any requests, providing a welcoming atmosphere that invites guests to dine at the restaurant.Ambiance (3.5/5): The transformation of the store between the daytime fish markets and night time restaurant makes the ambiance abit underwhelming seeing as you're seated within a fish market environment. However, that's how you know you're gonna be eating the freshest of ingredients!Price (4.5/5): Prices are reasonable, especially for the high quality of seafood, and the restaurant use to also offers $1 oysters on Tuesdays to satisfy oyster cravings.Parking (4.5/5): The restaurant has a large parking lot located above it, making it easy for diners to park and enjoy their meal.Overall, Viet Hoa Oyster Bar and Kitchen is an excellent seafood restaurant that's perfect for satisfying sashimi or oyster cravings. It's recommended for a casual dining experience, but not ideal for special occasions or birthdays.

Excellent quality and flavourful seafood dishes at such a good price point. I paid $200 for a table of 5 and we had oysters, lobster, pippis, prawns, and their famous duck HSP. Small restaurant with little seating and next to a bush fish monger so don’t expect anything fancy. I’ve been more than 5x in the last year and I forever keep on coming back.

Tasteful and modern decor, this casual seafood place had fabulous customer service, short waits for orders ( they apologised for the delay and it hadn’t been 15 minutes!) and we loved watching the chefs prepare our meals. We ordered scallop Aburi , so yum, lobster rolls…absolutely delicious, the biggest salmon burger I’ve ever seen and was reportedly amazing and barramundi, perfectly cooked, fresh and flaky. The prices were very reasonable, highly recommend, we’ll be back!

Not your typical restaurant or eatery. The place joins onto the fishmonger, so presumably that's how they get their fresh seafood. It's quite a small place, but the service and food are excellent. I'd steer clear of the sashimi (that was only okay), but everything else we tried were delicious and value for money. We'll definitely go back!
