Australia Post - Chester Hill Post Shop

Staff are visibly frustrated with their jobs, and are not the fastest in service. Usually get done what they need to do, they just take their time. Acceptable service, though not the best by any standards.

I am working full time until 5.00pm everyday. I have few parcels left in post office but they don't open on Saturday how can I pickup it? Why not open Saturday as other places????

Not the friendliest or helpful staff. I went to ship a vintage item with the rare original box. I asked for a postage box and when I looked up and the Filipino lady behind the counter ignored my instructions and had already stuck the label on the original box. When I questioned her about it, she said rudely it doesn’t fit! I ended up having to refund the customer as the box was damaged. Worst Australia post ever!

Want to collect $10.00 item that my husband bought from Ebay. But my address didn't match. Just for information, the address was for a warehouse . Where can I get proof of address since the warehouse was under company name and why do I need to change my driving license to the warehouse address? I try to give her my husband ID got rejected !! Nice !!Did you guys ever sent your item to your office? Did the Australian Post officer there asking for a proof of address? So you need to change your driving license to your office address and ask your boss to change the billing under your name?No idea why the delivery man didn't deliver it as we were in the warehouse for most of the time.No idea why the Australian Post officer there work like ROBOT as well.No idea why it's so hard to just collect the goods from the Australian Post.Lesson learn. Should have just sent it to my HOME ADDRESS so it would match with my driving license address !! Otherwise, good luck to waste your time to go to Chester Hill Australian POST.

I always visit this post office as we have moved recently in the area. Done business with them so many times…Absolutely impeccable service . The staff is so helpful. Can I give it **********. Ten stars..five stars is too little. Service with A SMILE

The auspost website said I can use 2 vaild id without photo.Then I have take my bank statement and Medicare card. But the staff told I need photo id.

Really friendly and helpful staff .Always ready to help. Dnt blame them saying they are slow but actually we are always in rush as customers like someone is running late to pick up the kids or from work or for many reasons.At least they are not like those selfish banks (NAB/ANZ ) who even closed their branches from our suburb and runaway .so be grateful and appreciate what we have and getting served by them.Thank you for great service Chester Hill PO.

Not friendly staff (I mean the ladies) I don't believe you can see a customer service like that in Australia, I always prefer to go Kilometres away to other post office than going to Chester Hill post office

I've been going to Chester HIll Australia Post for years when I have used other branches too, definitely one of the better post offices in Sydney. Reliable, friendly and knowledgeable, quick, very busy but usually they're not under staffed. I don't usually write reviews but for a place that's served so well over the many years , it doesn't deserve the low Google rating.

Worst customer service Known to date with this branch. They should really consider their hiring and team management. Lack of customer engagwment, talking while us customer is waiting to be called, laziness, emotionless, no greetings, minimum care towards furthering to help with passport documents and doesn't bother to investigate with further enquiries.
