Gumbuya World

We had a great experience with young kids especially when kids can feed the animals.It's a great water park and summer will be very adventurous and fun.kids love the reptiles and birds.It's about 50-60 mins drive from the city in the south east of Melbourne.public transport may be an option but no idea how to get here.you can only go for wildlife experience in winter which is great and also at a reduced price.Multiple things at one place.

Hands down far better than the theme parks at QLD... It's like all theme parks rolled into one. Rides, water park, wildlife animals, all ages and all thrill levels. A fantastic day out for all the family.

Had a great time, rides overall were really fun and there was a good range of things to do. Has a lot of potential as well to be a massive amusement park, since it was very organized, clean and modern.

Wow this place although not cheap the kids loved it. It feels new and there is heaps of space. Lines weren’t too bad and everything was well presented and organised. All rides and slides were working well.

The park is huge with so many things to do. I would recommend finishing with the water activities so you are comfortable doing other activities.Food and drink is extremely overpriced with a 600ml coke costing $6 and lockers are pretty expensive as well, costing $15 for the day. Tables are rare however there is a lovely inside dining area.

Fantastic for families with young kids! The rides are fun, the restaurant is normal theme park food and the toilets are extremely clean.I only gave Gumbuya world 3 stars because the animal area is terrible. The animals are awesome, there’s nothing wrong there. But there are no staff to keep the animals safe and a lot of the patrons walking around have no respect for the animals, chasing around the peacocks and chickens and just being ignorant. Getting really close for a photo or selfie. Even if they are friendly, if they’re running away just chill!Please put a few staff in that area to tell people to be decent humans and not harass the poor animals! It ruined my day after enjoying the water slides. If you’re going to house these beautiful creatures, please look after them. I saw a lady kick a chicken…and her son did the same.I could rant forever about the care of the animals by patrons but all I’ll say is, take your family for a lovely day out at Gumbuya world and be respectful to animals and staff. ❤️
