westnet is the worst company i have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.consistent overcharging, no phone line for over a month, no internet for weeks and constant lies and deception from the so called customer care team. still no resolution after many hours of speaking to these cretins. they say they will fine me if i break the contract and go with another provider so the ombudsman will have to sort it out now

Unable to get simple sensible answers when trying to get through by phone, on hold for so long AFTER I was speaking to someone my phone cut out. There is no customer service . I was trying to upgrade my plan but not any more

When first subscribed many years ago, it was good. As many, when they get too big…. The service is dismal .Had so many disconnection problems for past few years.Once again wasted hrs trying to get through, even call back service did not work .Half day still have no internet or connection to other devices !

Their technical support use to be really good but now it horribly and they flat out lie . We are currently experiencing speed issues and the tech support tried to say that all/my modem gets slower the older it gets even though they got me to try to different modems and it was the same speed on both. So i eventually got them to agree to get some one to check the line and i get a phone 4 days later asking to do more trouble shooting after spending hour and a half the first time so after explaining that to them and said i would not wait in a queue for an hour or more on the phone to do more trouble shooting (because i was at work at the time they call) they agreed to send get some one organised to check the line again and they were going to call me to let me know when it was organised the next day but their has still been no call back and the phone line still hasn't been checked. They all so use to give you a call back instead of waiting in the queue but that not a thing any more and the queue is all was over and hour of wait time.

The worst! Stop and turn around and go somewhere else. I cannot comprehend how bad their customer service is. I cannot even be arsed to write all down here! Ive been a customer since 1998 and have put up, and up, and up with their poor performance for far too long. So now I'm out, at last!

Extremely slow internet service. Customer support is not helpful and 1hr wait times minimum. Your life is not worth this level of disrespect from a company.

This has the worst customer service. On hold for over 20 mins while they try to work out my problem then call disconnected from there side not rung back. Had to ring again and was on hold again. Can't post without giving 1 star but it is not worth 1 star.

If I could give -100 x 0 stars I would. We've been with Westnet for almost 15 years. Their support was second to none until IINET took it over & OMG, they are rude, obnoxious & extremely unprofessional. I've submitted one report to the Telecommunications Ombudsman already for constant drop-out's since November last year & am about to submit another before finally cancelling all of our products with them. This morning out internet speed for downloads is less than 1mbps when it's usually up around 10 & I phoned & spoke with a rude little man who refused to help me because I couldn't provide him with an account number, refused to look up our details & wouldn't put me through to a supervisor. They are the WORST ISP ever. Don't connect with them, their service & reliability is appalling.

My mother was a long time and loyal Westnet customer, after she passed away recently her account was in credit. The customer service" team at Westnet made it impossible to claim back the money which was rightfully hers.Several hours across many phone calls - most of which were mysteriously disconnected when the resolution appeared imminent - no call took less than 45 minutes and none ever ended with the desired result. None of the team members ever followed through with their promise to return phone calls or follow up in any way.Congratulations Westnet - you made things so inconvenient for us during an incredibly difficult time for our family that get to keep a dead woman's money. I hope you are happy - because we sure are not."
