Michael Hill Cairns Central

Went to check why my brand new watch that a friend give me for my bthday stop working. The watch was less than a week of usage. They said it could be the battery and told me that the only solution would be to send straight to warranty. They also wants to charge me 20 if I want to change the batteries straight (what a joke for a brand new watch). Shame on them no solution at all and make you wait for a week or ten 10 days for a repair. And also the most funny part was before I left she was like: “you can keep the bag and the box” which of course I refuse because why do I need an empty bag and empty box for?? You made my day Michael Hills. I understand the waiting if it is more than three month of usage but no being less than a week. I think they could have definitely done better coming up with another solution or at least a couple of different options for me to choose. Anyways watch out where you put your money!

We had the pleasure of being in the company of Meredith, she was professional and personable when picking out something special for our son. She even gave our daughter a gift bag, our little girl was chuffed!! Thank you Meredith for being patient and listening to our son while he chose his perfect piece!!

4 stars as Michael Hill itself, as a whole, not impressed. However, Kellie at Cairns Central is caring & compassionate and her customer service amazing. She genuinely cares for you and wants what is best for you.

22 May ordered my ring. Received exceptional & attentive service. Clear information about the ring being made along with options how to receive it. I was from Brisbane. Received a call with a follow up SMS that my ring had been delivered to my closest store. Very much enjoyed & appreciated the service we received here. Kelly at Cairns Central has been a wonderful Manager and her staff are a true reflection of her morals and standards. A huge thank you to Julie who has gone above and beyond to help me recently. I highly recommend these ladies to anyone wanting a positive experience when purchasing their jewellery and after service care.

Partner and I went in for our engagement rings, not entirely sure what we wanted. The staff there were so patient, knowledgeable, and friendly, and did a great job walking us through everything and giving us time to think and talk.We went to a number of other jewellery shops afterwards to consider our options, but nowhere else did the staff go so far to make us feel so comfortable.We returned to Michael Hills 2 days later, and after patiently helping us for another half hour or so, we left feeling very happy and confident in our purchase.

Shah was exceptional in taking the time to teach me about the differences in ring styles and trends despite my utter cluelessness. Her customer service was second to none. I highly recommend this store for friendly service and will be choosing to buy that special ring from Michael Hill when the time is right because of it.

Took a gold necklace with a jammed clasp in to Michael Hills Cairns Central this morning, hoping they could help. Meredith was absolutely wonderful. So friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She repaired my necklace (bought from a different jeweller) on the spot and completely free of charge. I’m very impressed!
