Roses Victoria

What a great find this place is! I first found them on the internet looking for roses but then found them through Gumtree as well. Consistently helpful customer service through both phone calls and at the nursery. Roses Victoria have a great range of roses but also other plants too, all at really affordable prices. Extremely helpful staff (Thanks Jono and Josh!) and I look forward to going back again!

I purchased some bare rooted stock and was pleasantly surprised with the exceptional service. I ordered online and in a matter of days I had the roses delivered to my door. Customer service was just outstanding!

Great nursery, good range of plants at a reasonable prices.

A large variety to choose, which is a pro. Nevertheless, the health of at least half of my order (4 roses) was below average. Two in particular had minimal green leaves covered with black spots. Even though I am confident to revive them under my care, it is not deemed appropriate to charge customers normal rates for a sick specimen especially without pre warning listed on the website regarding their concerning quality issue.

Definitely a disappointing experience. I bought a bare root rose last year as a tribute to my Mum in-law who is very sick (she picked the colour). Something to remember her by every time I go out into the backyard I guess. The rose was planted and flourished but then a problem arose. When it bloomed instead of being an soft apricot colour as I’d ordered and was on the label, it was instead a deep red colour. Sure it’s a stunning rose, but wasn’t what I ordered. I was shattered. After numerous unanswered emails and phone calls regarding the issue I just gave up. My Mum in-law still loves it but for me it’s left a sour taste considering I wanted get a colour she liked and to buy local after all the dramas for small business over the last few years. I’ll be shopping elsewhere in the future which is a shame, but it is what it is.
