This is a very nice Cafe, away from the main part of town which makes it most relaxing, and over looking the beautiful rose gardens. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Easy parking, a little bit out of the main town on Kent st. In the old Powerhouse building, with very high ceilings, it’s cool and comfortable with fans and good aircon. Great selection of fresh food and deli items. Lovely staff and consistently excellent coffee. Thanks Mad Prov for providing my almost daily fix.

We had a large group of 15 ladies and they accommodated us in the inside room . Wonderful service. Great coffee and treats.

We randomly selected MAD Providore as our lunch destination after finding them online.Located inside the Powerhouse Community Centre/Church, MAD is a well-presented business, albeit possibly darker inside due to the limited natural lighting. It is reasonably spacious and has seating to accommodate groups of all sizes. As it's located on the corner of two streets, there is plentiful parking around the Centre.At the counter, the main glass cabinet held a variety of goodies, ranging from pastries/sweets to various sandwiches, ready for toasting. There were also several different salads on offer.We were served by two ladies. While the younger lady was friendly and helpful, the other was, unfortunately, somewhat reserved when interacting with my wife and I. While browsing at the counter, she waited silently on the other side, and it became our responsibility to initiate greetings. This continued during and after the meals, with conversation being virtually non-existent. When groups of elderly locals entered, however, hugs and lengthy chatting ensued. Maybe as one-off, younger visitors, we didn't warrant the same energy and attention? Disappointing if so.That being said, our toasted Reuben sandwiches, drinks (Flat White, Chai Latte, Berry smoothie), and Almond Croissant and Vanilla Slice, were all very good. We couldn't fault any aspect of the dining experience and, overall, were satisfied when finished.In summary, MAD Providore is a clean and tidy, well-maintained business that offers a decent range of food and drinks. Had the service been more consistent, my review, and rating, would have been higher.

We’ve been here twice today. Morning tea and now lunch. Great coffee, excellent service, good range of food, both savoury and sweet. Great industrial space. Make sure you check out the fridges for amazing cheeses and meats. Easy parking on Kent Street. We will definitely be back when in Maryborough.

Amazing! Brisket Toastie is the best toastie I have ever had. Ever. Beautiful food and service in a lovely setting. I drove here from Hervey Bay after drooling over the Insta posts and can see this being a regular thing :) Highly recommend.

The food is amazing. They do a great job. It's a bit expensive but very professional xx
