Carpet One Lithgow

Ray and his team at Lithgow One have just installed new carpet, floorboards and blinds at our house and we are overjoyed at the results.Professional, friendly and the finished product was installed over just two days.We wanted to keep our money local and we are glad we did.

Not enough glue supplied for our job. When raised it with them they put the blame on us saying the floor is not straight, the ply will soak up the glue ect ect. The sub floor was straight and even with all holes filled up and sanded down. The manufacturer website states you need a quarter kg to halve a kg per square meter. We ordered 82m2 vinyl planks and glue. They only supplied us I bucket of 14kg which at best could do 56m2. They state that their installers use 14kg of glue per 85m2 which is well below the manufacturer recommandations so beware if you get them to install your vinyl. They left us high and dry as they are closed over the Christmas break and we can get no more glue. They also delivered the planks a month late without letting us know that there was a delay.

Went to Carpet 1. Chose carpet their mesurer came to give up a firm quote. We agreed on a price to do the job after many phone calls only to find that they require FULL payment in advance. Shame as nice people to deal with.

We had our lino replaced in our large kitchen. All the team were fantastic to deal with. Luke who installed the lino was absolutely fantastic. His attention to detail laying the flooring was superb. I cannot recommend Carpet One Lithgow enough. We certainly are getting them to do our carpet's when the time comes.

Great service and great advice from Steve, who also managed to fit us in at short notice. Shane, who lay the carpet, was terrific and pointed out an issue with seepage which he could easily have ignored. Highly recommended.

We swear by this place . Had carpeting done including stairs when another carpet layer said he couldn’t do because stairs too finicky . Great job and nice finishing touches. Had downstairs landing done in the hallway with vinyl planking . Beautiful job and looks stunning . Lifts the whole area . Every tradie they use is first class . Ray who does the quotes and organises is an absolute legend . The owner Beth is just lovely . Top quality , on time and great prices .

Ray and his team went above and beyond in service and the quality of finish is faultless. We renovated a whole house with new vinyl and carpet throughout. Very competitive prices as we had shopped around and done or research. Ray won us over with his level of service, helpfulness, knowledge and flexibility to our constantly changing plans. Could not be happier the end result and would recommend to anyone.

They are rudest people in the world. Dont even talk to them. All it started with my quote and when i asked them for the best price they said rudely take your business elsewhere" . after that somehow i hired them for laying the carpet for some reason they missed first set date and for silly reason. Later asked for the full money before the job itself

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Received two boxes of vinyl planks short of my order and not enough glue for the job and one length of stair nosing trim short. They tried to turn it around onto me. I was spoken to so aggressively and unprofessionally. Never again will I be ripped off spoken to like that or ever recommending Lithgow carpet one.
