Lots of bullying but its good for farming cattle and equine

Biggest Regret of my life as a parentMy child will be changed forever due to bashing she receives more than once.No supervision.No Duty of Care.No safe place even in the dorms if infact worse.Very divided School I'm of the opinion that nothing is EVER done due to funding handed to the School for students to board and school here.When parents like my self pay up to $30 k a yr.This School should become a home for troubled teens as this is what it seems to attract for the sake of money with no regard or safety for the children being bullied.Teachers are threatened constantly by students one pushed and had time off due to hurting herself.No aftercare NOTHINGI now have to pick up the pieces of a very different child than when they first started.Biggest mistake of my lifePerhaps a new head of School should be appointed as she is NEVER available and never ever takes responsibility very elusive.I would never reccomend this school to anyone.

Loved it at first everyone was very friendly but 2weeks in and started being constantly bullied and told multiple teachers but nothing was done about it, spent 3 terms dealing with this and no staff would do anything. Only thing I really enjoyed about the school was equine, the rest of the classes were horrible kids would disrespect teachers throwing chairs and tables around, not to mention kids would sneak off with packs of smokes and smoke on school grounds.Most kids attending this school do NOT have a intrest in ag but only to muck around and make it hard for kids like me who actually want to learn, Other than that teachers were lovely and it’s sad to see what they have to put up with.

This School needs to be closed downIts a disgrace Dirty, leaking roof,Cold cubicals for student, broken windows every where, A shed full of Mouldy hay that looks like its been there for ever, and now Bullying of the student. Something has to be done

Not a very good school, only good thing about it is the cattle club and that's it

A fantastic school for those interested in vocational studies, particularly those involving agriculture, equine, husbandry and TAFE certificates involving various trade skills. A place that also values people from all walks of life, especially indigenous, non-indigenous and students struggling to engage in conventional school settings. Furthermore Edmund Rice College is a school that strives to give students a chance to master literacy and numeracy skills for the workplace. I would highly recommend this college to any student looking to engage in any vocational study listed above or a place that is inclusive towards all cultures.
