This is a well-situated Cafe located very close to Tiral Bay Gaol. We had visited the Gaol, which opens at 9, hoping to have a nice brunch here afterwards. Unfortunately, after waiting for a while to be seated, we were told that it's only Morning tea menu after 10.30am. There were only a few items on the morning tea menu (muffins, scones etc) and I had to go and seek out someone to take our order (they do have table service). We opted for Scones and they were delicious. It would be nice if service hours were reviewed to benefit visitors to the area especially during peak times.

Maybe the older fella working on Friday 26.05.2023 was having a bad day but no excuse for being sour as lemons. He was not happy that we just ordered drinks and no food at 10.30am ... treated the other couple of customers the same.Iced latte was nothing great and the glass of coke was flat, warm and little ice ... bit rich @ $4 glass. Maybe try having cans !!Wouldn't bother again especially with that level of joyous customer service !!!!

A lovely restaurant with great food, staff who couldn't do more to help you if they tried and lovely views.Previous reviews by others suggest small portions, they were definitely not small for our visit. The steak sandwich was huge, and the salmon was divine.Next time we're back in Trial Bay I'll be back for more. The review is for 6 stars not 5!

Would definitely recommend this lovely spot at Arakoon. Great views of the beach and the kangaroos makes for a pleasant meeting place. Very friendly and fast service. Great food and coffee. Reasonable prices

After a energetic walk around the Smokey Cape Lighthouse we decided on lunch, then a swim. The Trial Bay Kiosk for the first and the nearby beach for the second. What a lovely spot! Nestled in the National Park at Arakoon it has a lovely outlook out to the ocean. We went with the battered fish of the day (flathead) and the crab and prawn linguine. Both were excellent. Aldente linguine with lovely prawns and crab meat. Yum.The fish were lightly battered and delicious. The chips were also lovely. We had coffee (Gabriel) and the passion fruit tart with sorbet for dessert. We left well fed and happy. Service was good and we had no complaints. To swim or not to swim? THAT was the question!

We had a very good NYE dinner at Trial Bay Kiosk. The food was really excellent, we went for couple of specials and the baked whole Baby Snapper was absolutely delicious. Spicy fish tacos were pretty good as well.Very nice setting with gorgeous views of ocean.Staff was attentive with all the tables filled out.Coffee was excellent but desert (semifroddo) was a miss as it was completely frozen to the point where you could not stick a knife in it. You had to wait for it to thaw.Overall, a well run place with some excellent dishes, I would go back. There is really no alternative in South West Rocks for a quality meal.

Great place for lunch with a good view. They are really underselling the place by calling it a kiosk. Not cheap.

Sometimes being a local, we go to our favourite places/businesses,take them for granted and don't let them know that we love them. We keep going back but others don't see and know that! Trial Bay Kiosk is one of my regular places to go in South West Rocks! It's an awesome location, as in the view is beautiful no matter what time of day or year and it's a very relaxed atmosphere. In the 18 months that i have now lived in South West Rocks, I have not had a bad dining experience there. Never have I been rushed or made to feel uncomfortable by any of the staff. We love the food, coffee, wine and atmosphere. We recently held my daughters 16th birthday party there, had 30 adults a three course dinner and a grazing platter. Everyone was extremely happy with their meal and the venue as a whole. Wether it be just for coffee and drinks, breakfast, lunch or dinner Trial Bay Kiosk is a place I'm more than happy to recommend.

Food was delicious but minuscule in size. We have previously dined at Trial Bay Kiosk for Lunch and Dinner, our last trip was in December 2021. Previously, the meal sizes were large, filling and you could not fault them! My mum and I got the Soba Noodles and Salt & Pepper Squid for lunch (both advertised as mains) and although the service was quick and friendly, we were left very disappointed with what was served. The both of us had to go home and make ourselves lunches afterwards as we were still starving! When you pay $54 for these two dishes you expect a little bit better! Please do better, dining here used to be the highlight of our trip

What a great place for a meal. Have been coming here to eat and will continue to come for many more years. Staff are always so helpful and the views of the beach are lovely.
