The Church @ Laggan

Used the old Laggan church for a photo shoot and it was fantastic, every part of this old church has charm and worked well into the theme of the shoot.

Fantastic retreat location! Located in country NSW, you will be delighted with the local surrounds and the accommodation itself is well suited for a party up to 4 with extra beds if required.I recommend exploring the well stocked accommodation and taking in the beautiful sunsets and sunrises from the local countryside views.

We stayed here for our birthdays early August and was disappointed to see a concrete water tank had been placed outside the bathroom window. That certainly put a damper on what was advertised on the website to have a beautiful outlook from the bath…Why would you place such an eyesore right outside the window from the bath? When there is certainly heaps of room to have it placed on the other side of church right beside the massive hole…The fire place was not cleaned out from the previous booking and cob webs were in the upstairs bedroom area . There was no coffee available to be used with the coffee machine that sat on the kitchen bench. This certainly was not up to standard that was advertised on the website..

Really great getaway!! Quiet, beautiful and romantic. Soak in the bath before you sit in front of the wood fireplace with a glass of wine. The locals are nice as well as is the nearby restaurant (walkable). Very quirky-unique!

Beautiful, clean and cosy place to stay.Highly recommended staying here if you are in the area. There is plenty to do and see.The host Sheena is very friendly and helpful.

Breath in, breath out, relax.

Beautifully set up. Quiet and romantic for a peaceful get away. We'd love to have stayed longer - we were afraid we'd never leave and you'd have to come and throw us out. The wood fire in the bathroom is a lovely touch!
