Cobb Lane Richmond Traders

Went to check out Cobb Lane Bakery and had a mixed experience. The bread was good, but not amazing and it was quite expensive - over $10 per loaf. While it was decent quality, I was a little disappointed with the taste and texture.The pastries were tasty, but I thought they were way too expensive. Even though they were good, I couldn't justify spending that much on just one pastry.The bakery had a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They were really attentive and happy to answer any questions.Overall, I did enjoy my visit to Cobb Lane Bakery, but I feel like the prices were too high for what you get. The bread is good, but not amazing, and the pastries are delicious, but overpriced. If you want to have a nice bakery experience and don't mind paying a premium, then this place could be for you. But if you're on a budget, I would suggest looking somewhere else.

Do yourself a favour and do the following:Buy a seeded sourdough, cut a few slices and toast them. Once toasted put a thick slice of tomato on each, drizzle olive oil, salt, pepper and lightly dried basil.It it so g. This place is so good.

Excellent baked goods. I just wish they could find a way to stay open after 5pm to service the people who actually live in the area and work during the day elsewhere. Kinda sucks getting off a stinky Melbourne tram, hungry and tired to find the baked, butcher and grocer shut.

Best bread in Richmond. Multigrain loaf and baguette are our go to. Tried a fruit danish today and it was shockingly good. Truly beautiful produce being made here.

Absolutely love the lamingtons... and the freshly baked cheese pretzels in the morning are always a treat. Delicious donuts and pain aux and the bread is always good. This is one of the few places I'm going to miss when I move from Richmond.
